Noah was silent,before raising his head and looking up at Dallas in the near darkness.“I can,sort of.”He leaned in to kiss Dallas on the lips,needing the physical contact even more than he could’ve anticipated.

Soon they were glued together at the lips,making sure the other was there.Old hurts and pains seemed so small and petty after having seen how fickle life was.How easily and quickly it was gone if you had some bad luck or were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Noah groaned into Dallas’s mouth and pulled the other man closer.They tried to touch as much skin as possible,their hands moving along the other’s body almost frantically.It might have been the grief that held them back from doing anything more than kiss for the longest time and then cuddle until they fell asleep,but Noah knew things had just changed for the better,whether they were taking it slow or not.December
