“Whatever! My girl Danita took me out for $2 giant margaritas and we weren’t about to let a fresh $10 bill go to waste. I had two along with three glasses of water so I would not smell like Senorita Agave coming home. Anyway, how you know about my new job?”

“I’m surprised your mamma hasn’t put it on a billboard already, Ms. Golden Child. She is proud of any and everything you have done so you know she called to let me know.”

“Whatever Yo. You and I both know the ink wasn’t dry on your MBA before Momma had it framed and put in the entrance to the house so everyone could bask in the glory of her baby’s achievement.”
