“You’ll let us remain friends?” Julio asked cautiously.

Julio loosened his shoulders and offered Alexei a relaxed smile. The whirl of the elevator caught both their attention, and Donal came bounding into the room. Ever since Donal’s feet had healed, he preferred to run everywhere.
