"What are you doing!?" Guard Ren could not watch Yu Cheng getting beaten until he was half dead while she was standing on the side. She turned to look at the guards who followed her and motioned them to stop Yu Linyun. 

It was one thing if that woman was agitated but if she was to kill Yu Cheng in her agitation that would be troublesome. 

The guards pulled Yu Linyun to the side as Guard Ren said to Yu Linyun, "What do you think you are doing? Can you not see the yamen officers standing here?" 

'Forgive me, my lady. I was just too angry," Yu Linyun bowed her head and apologised. "I was just too angry at this unfilial and shameless son of mine. I have taught him well and even sent him to the academy such that he would learn better manners and knowledge but he did such a thing. It is like I have wasted all my efforts in raising him."
