"Kekeke. You are very funny. Do you really think that I answer to you?", the same deep voice rang in Lucas' ears.
"They say that a host must be kind to a guest. I don't know which crazy idiot started that.", Lucas sighed.
"Guest? Lucas, isn't it time that you understood? I am not a guest. I am here to stay. No matter how much you want to escape this fact. You are stuck with me. You better understand.", the voice said.
"Stay? No one wants the harbinger of death and destruction within their body, Fenrir. No one. Why are you even awake? Last time you were awake was more than fifty years ago.", Lucas asked.
"Just fifty years? Felt like a nice nap. Well, fifty years is a long time for you humans. I remember that there were a lot of new things that humans were working on then, that looked very, very interesting. Let's go out. I am bored out of my mind here.", Fenrir spoke.
"Go out? Do you even see the state that I am in, Fenrir? I was about to die.", Lucas snarled.
"Nonsense. I would never allow this body to die. I would have to come out, and find another host. How difficult would that be?", Fenrir laughed.
"Then help me out. There is a gaping hole in the middle of my chest. Why don't you take care of that?", Lucas asked.
"I knew it. The moment that you knew I was awake you were looking to take advantage of me.", Fenrir said.
"Just think of it as rent.", Lucas replied.
"Fine, whatever. Just a hole. Why so serious? Both of us have seen far worse."
Lucas suddenly fell on the ground, clutching his chest. He bit his lip, stopping him from shouting out with pain. His eyes started watering, and turned red. Fur appeared on the sides of his face, arms and legs. The bandaged on his chest fell apart, and the hole was visibly closing up. Dark veins could be seen around the new flesh.
The hole was covered up in a few seconds. After this was all over, Lucas panted for air. He scowled, "You could have given me a warning."
"What's the fun in that?"
The fur and the glowing eyes disappeared in an instant. Lucas was now completely spotless. He did not even have a scar around that area. He removed all of his bandages. He was shirtless, and it revealed quite the muscle structure. Lucas just sighed as he looked at the closet in the room. He took a random plain shirt and put it on.
"Fine, I'll take care of my side of the deal.", Lucas muttered.
He opened the door to be greeted by a very noisy workplace. He stepped out, and saw a lot of people were working. It seemed that they were a part of a construction work, but Lucas was not sure. He just strolled through the place, till he came to the huge gathering that Michael had visited half an hour before.
He started walking through the place, looking for the exit, with his hands behind his back. However, things were never so simple. Someone blocked his path.
"Who are you? How did you come here?", a large and muscular man asked him. He was quite big, and was carrying what seemed like a ton(the literal ton) of steel on his back.
"I didn't know that werewolves were forced to do menial work around here. Looks like Michael is really under utilizing you guys.", he casually commented as he turned.
"Did I let you go? Follow me. I am afraid that as a trespasser, and someone who knows about werewolves, you are going to have to answer a few questions before you are allowed to leave."
But, when the man blinked, Lucas disappeared from his line of sight. He felt a pat behind his back. "You are doing your job. It's okay. I understand. I will speak with your boss myself. You should continue with your work.", Lucas said softly.
The man tried to move, but he couldn't. He was immobile. Lucas must have done something. Lucas looked around, and then started moving towards a particular part of the warehouse. After some walking, he saw a group of people, with Michael among them. Michael was giving them instructions. But, the moment that Lucas set foot near them, all of them turned towards him.
"Intruder!", one of them shouted.
