I sat down on Alex’s bed and sighed. I glanced at her pillow and slammed my face right into it and let out a loud frustrated groan.

“I mean… at least Elena isn't making a fuss now…”

I turned my head to face Alex who was sitting at her desk. She gave me a nervous smile.

“If she did, Lady Rium really will send her to court. I didn’t think she would pull that card.”

“But isn’t this great? No one’s even paying attention to us anymore,” Alex reasoned. “They might even forget the whole witchcraft thing that night.”

I scoffed. “Yeah, because Lady Rium was also accused of it. If everyone doesn’t want to face the Bazanine family, they better forget everything that night. After all, most of the female population in the Academy chased down Lady Rium’s group and cornered them.”

“Not a fun experience…”
