Upon waking up, Gideon didn't immediately get out of bed and merely sat there in a daze. His pillows were damp with tears and his eyes were puffy as if he had cried himself to sleep. He could still vividly remember his "dream". Before his transmigration to this world, he remembers that the book was centered around Kaiden's perspective of the world. That was the reason why he knew how to handle him as a kid.
Is this why Kaiden grew attached to him? because he was able to fit the standard of what Kaiden wanted from him?
He looked to his side and Kaiden probably left earlier. Thankfully he did not witness Gideon crying. But why exactly was he crying because of someone else's memories? As he "remembered" more of the original's memories, he was slowly feeling like it was something familiar. Like it was something that he had already encountered. It would be stupidly strange because he was a different person. At this thought, he clenched his fists.
Hello, I'm sorry for disappearing for so long. I got really sick and I was told to finish my college degree first. I have been studying hard ever since but I was writing the story in my spare time! I've had a bunch of other stories drafted for everyone in the following months-years (Spoiler alert: There are four new stories in the drafts)
I will try to update at least once a week (if not a month at least).
The story has yet to come to an end for there will be more secrets revealed (Several of which I've seen being asked by readers)
With lots of love, Rei.
