"You really want to take him in your disciple? You even give him the Nucleus Core of the Dark Demon God Tiger!" Huyan Lanruo muttered in shock, covering her mouth with her hand.
Jason shrugged his shoulders and said. "That thing is worthless to us anyway. And since he was destined with it, I'm just fulfilling it a little earlier. Anyway, I have left the decision in his hands, now it is all up to him. We can only guide someone but can't force them."
He smiled and continued. "Your talk of taking in disciples made me think that I should also accept one too. Since I'm already a little bored, I thought it would bring me some fun, you know."
"But it is such a surprise coming from you. Even the students that you had guided had reached a very high level but now you want to take in a disciple and train him. If our friends learn that they might die from shock." Huyan Lanruo replied.
Erina chimed in. "Even I'm caught by surprise by your sudden words. It's not easy for people to get you to give them pointers and yet be a direct disciple. I wonder what type of achievements he would accomplish in the future."
"Me too." The others nodded their heads.
Jason smiled and turned to them. "Anyway, when are you going to go out and take in the girls as your disciples."
Erina shook her head. "I haven't found anyone and I think I first need to improve my strength."
Huyan Lanruo giggled. "I'm thinking of paying a visit tonight. I'll give you good news soon."
Jason nodded his head. According to his intel, Xiao Ning'er and Mingyue Wushuang were the first among his people to take in disciples.
Jason had no objection since he knew the girls were mature enough to make decisions regarding such matters.
As for Jason being optimistic about Zhou Weiqing, the reason was pretty simple; first, the kid had potential, and second, he was the protagonist of this world.
Rather than letting someone else have this chance, Jason would take him under his wing and train him on a different path from the original plot.
After the short talk, they returned to work.
Soon, the sun slowly disappeared at the horizon, and the moon appeared in the sky with a sheet of darkness filled with countless sparkling stars enveloping the country.
At a luxurious mansion, a young girl was sitting cross-legged in the lotus position, her eyes closed and her face was filled with a serene expression. She was wearing a light outfit made out of silk that was wet, and drenched by her own sweat as her figure was surrounded by a milky white mist.
A pair of marbles was rotating above the back of her hands as she was silently cultivating.
No one knew how much time passed before she released a mouthful of air and opened her bewitching and seductive eyes.
"Oh my~, you're able to able to raise a level in just a month without any proper guidance. No wonder, My husband said that you're a real talent."
Just as she had finished, she was startled by a melodious and flirtatious voice. Looking to her left, she saw a figure of a young woman who had a curvaceous figure with enchanting eyes. Her gaze was filled with a sexy allure bewitching anyone who gazed into them. She had long pink hair and she slowly played with it while a playful smile hung at the corner of her face.
"Eeh? Y-You're...?" Xiao Ruse was surprised by her appearance, her eyes alert.
Huyan Lanruo giggled and said. "We don't have the chance to properly introduce each other, right? My name is Huyan Lanruo and the reason why I am here... Fufu~, Little Sister, are you interested in worshipping me as your Master?"
"My... Master?" Xiao Ruse's eyes expanded in shock as she stared at the beautiful and sexy woman sitting on her bed.
"Yep. You don't have one anyway. So, what do you say? I like you and my husband says that you've mad talent. You can improve your strength and learn many things." Huyan Lanruo smiled and put her hand forward. "The only condition is you can't use your strength to bully innocent and weak in the future. My husband doesn't like it and might even kill you despite valuing you. He hates people that do that."
Xiao Ruse stared at her hand and contemplated her words with a serious expression in her heart. To be precise, if not for her and her husband, she might not have awakened her jewels at all. Also, even though they might look like normal humans on the surface, Xiao Ruse could guess that both the woman sitting in front and her husband along with the other girls might be experts who were hiding in their empire under disguise.
She furrowed her brows and asked. "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure," Huyan Lanruo already guessed what was on her mind and nodded her head.
Xiao Ruse took a deep breath and asked. "Why did you help me? I mean... what do you want with me?"
Huyan Lanruo giggled and said. "Before answering your question, you tell me what you can do for us, little sister?"
Xiao Ruse was speechless as she thought. 'Yeah. What am I useful for them? I am the only daughter of the Finance Minister of our Empire but our empire is very small and poor, to begin with so why can they gain from it?...'
Watching her thinking so hard, Huyan Lanruo smiled and answered. "Actually, we're only the temporary residents of your empire. I, my husband, and my other sisters are wanderers who travel around in search of Dao. That's something you will come in contact with when you reach a higher realm in the future. As for helping you, well, that's because my husband finds your character quite pleasing. You're a strong independent woman who wants to accomplish big things on her own rather than enjoying her comfy life. So, don't think too much about it, okay? Now, what is your answer?"
Xiao Ruse consumed her words and sighed. She stood up and walked over before kneeling on the ground. She kowtowed with a sincere expression. "Senior, please accept me as your disciple!"
Looking at the kneeling Xiao Ruse in front of her, Huyan Lanruo laughed heartily. "Good, girl. Then from now on, you're my first disciple. You may rise now."
"Thank you, Master." Xiao Ruse stood up and asked. "Master, if I may, what is your current strength?"
