章節 226: Ch 13 - Paradise Wine

Di Fengling urged the maids to quickly pour the wine for them. If not for his position as the Monarch of the Empire, then he might have snatched it from them and poured it himself.
Admiral Zhou had somehow been able to maintain his usual expressionless look, along with his composure, but still couldn't stop his face from blushing. His eyes flashed a spark of expectation as he grabbed his glass and slowly raised it to his mouth. He hesitated for a second, and then drained the cup in one gulp!

As he felt the wine reaching his stomach, he realized that he still hadn't finished it all, which is why he drained the rest of it down in his second gulp…
Zhou Shuiniu was just beginning to enjoy the aroma of the wine even more when he suddenly felt a very intense and extreme sense of burning inside his body… almost as if his limbs, all his blood vessels, and all his meridians were on fire!
Suddenly he felt as if his whole body had been set on fire; his body hair was erect, and even his Heavenly Energy wasn't listening to his commands anymore!
"Great wine! This is the best wine in this world!" Zhou Shuiniu tried very hard to suppress his words but was unable to. Even though this low-sounding roar came from deep within his throat, the excitement in his voice was evident.
Di Fengling also gulped his wine down, and then suddenly started staring foolishly at everyone. He got up a while later, walked around in a circle, almost as if he sleepwalking, and then returned to his seat. He kept his head lowered for a while, continuously staring at his glass of wine the entire time, after which he mumbled with tears in his eyes. "Today I know the truth behind my life… I've lived…"
Then he suddenly jumped up, and extended his arms, almost as if he wanted to scream out, but was unable to…. So he reseated himself and moaned. "Great wine! Ah, ah, ah, ah…"
Their weird behavior startled the two young maids as they watched the two highest authoritative people of the Empire, jumping up and down in joy.
If Jason was here then he would be equally flabbergasted. He had never thought that his wine would produce such a reaction in these people.
Only Luo Ke Di would not be surprised since he had the same reaction when he first tasted this wine.
Jason had warned Drunken Rouge when he first asked for that wine that he would never be able to enjoy the other wines ever again.
But he was quite reluctant to believe in it and asked for a jar.
In the end, he almost danced over the table in joy after he had gulped down two glasses of it.
The rich texture and sharp flavor could completely captivate the consumer, making him addicted to it.
While something like this was happening in the study of the castle, Zhou Weiqingn snuck out behind his father's back who had forced him to cultivate and train to make up for time lost.
For the past month, he was training without rest under the strict teaching of his father.
Zhou Shuiniu showed no mercy to his son and forbade him from going out to play. Aside from eating to replenish energy, Zhou Weiqing was not even allowed to rest.

And the first thing Zhou Weiqing did after escaping from his home was to pay a visit to the restaurant. He even brought dozens of gold coins so he could eat that delicious food again.
He rushed to the restaurant as fast as he could without pause, worried about his father catching him to bring back home for training.
When he arrived, most of the customers had finished and he was able to successfully score a seat.
Zhou Weiqing raised his head and saw Erina chatting with a customer. He was instantly captivated by watching the two of them, especially the customer.
The customer was a young girl around the age of 10-12 years. She had a slender build with ravishing blue hair. Her skin was fine and smooth as milk, and her most dazzling feature was her pair of large enchanting light blue eyes which were gentle and nigh perfect. Her features were blemishless, giving anyone who looked upon her an impression of being as gentle as still water.
Anyone who saw her would be instantly mesmerized with her.
Zhou Weiqing had seen Princess Difuya who had been deemed as the Jewel of the Empire because of her beauty and talent but even she couldn't compare to the young girl sitting on the table, giggling.
Her smile was like the arrival of spring, flowers blooming in a garden.
Zhou Weiqing could feel his heart throbbing inside his chest.
'This is...'
"Oh my~, did you fall in love with Little Bing'er, you naughty boy?"
