章節 97: Gods of Anir

"Tan! Why did it take you so long?!"

"Who cares Milie, the food is here!!" diving at the packed food in their elder brothers' hands.

Milie and Doyle were the two younger siblings of Tan that he was responsible for since their parents had died long ago from illness.

"Calm down both of you.

Now sit down and careful eat your food.

It's hot, ok?"

'"Ok!"' the two shouted at the same time while smiling at their big brother Tan.

"Ooo, what's this?"

"It's called 'butter chicken'…

The people of the Sicarius Clan said it was nice with this bread called 'Naan'.

Personally, I liked the Garlic flavoured one." Tan got a little chance to snack on some food which was being handed out from the marketplace that'd been set up.

Since Tan was the eldest in his family and there were dependents he looked after, along with home he was given that they were currently living in but also a stipend for food that would need to be collected from the marketplace daily.

His age was also 13, which made him below the minimum mark to start work.

A law was put in place that stopped children from working that were below 16, leaving them in the care of the Clan who assured them they would be provided for.

Many of those children had moved into a section of homes that housed children of similar ages with the droids not too far away just in case anything happened.

The Clan had made it loud and clear to the townspeople of Swinford that they would be changing how things were managed in their city.

Currently they'd built homes and stores which could be used by the townspeople.

Everything seemed beyond their means as it was clean and new but day by day they slowly adjusted and got used to the changes around their town.

The security was a big change from before with all of the townspeople understanding the Clan was going to run it while continuing with their many jobs already.

.

Tan, being one of the first that met the droids, was given the opportunity to be part of the Youth Spokesperson that would help manage a council of its own with those of its age.

The main idea was to have Tan and the youth cooperate together to establish the next generation that would live within the town.

Above all else they would be the generation to flourish the most, compared to the aging and frightened adults that wished for simpler times.

Thankfully they were beginning to adapt to all the new changes once it meant their lives would improve a thousand-fold.

Many had adapted to the wrist bracelets which became the new source of their money and personal information.

The bracelets ended up being well received and enjoyed by most people since it even showed them a map of their town and locations of stores.

Notes would be introduced to the area once a bank was established but construction droids and drones didn't add one in just yet since Esmond planned to bring it in the second wave of construction upgrades.

For now, it was easy to keep track of the citizens with the bracelets who were more than happy to have a map of their home which helped since all of the construction had made things difficult to find.

.

Tan was currently sitting out on the balcony of the second roof top which let them look out to the great wall that now protected the town but also the mountains in the distance and meadows around.

"… I can't ever get over this view…" Tan said while taking a mouthful of the tasty hot butter chicken with rice and naan.

He was given plenty of extra food to take just in case and store within the refrigerator at their homes that were built in with the home constructions.

Sitting beside his two siblings, Tan started to think about his life going ahead what it could offer his little family, but just then he saw a light from the city centre pierce into the sky.

It was visible from every home in the town, quickly alerting all residences to either come out onto the streets to see what was happening or go onto their second floors and lookout from their balconies.

Soon the light formed into an image which could be viewed from everyone's angle, allowing all of the townspeople to watch the light head on.

Just then the image screen formed to show a wide platform with various people standing on it, overlooking the gathered people below.

Milie was about to ask what was going on, but she didn't have to wait long before the image in the sky relayed sound their ears, as the screen zoomed in one of the members on the stage.

"Hello everyone…

My name is Zars… and I am the founder and leader of the Sicarius Clan which has expanded its range of power from Vileta to include all of the area known as… 'Vaadan'…"

The idea a clan could overpower a town and its lord wasn't something unheard of but hearing they had taken control over a whole region and one that is known for its viciousness and high possibility of death.

The terrain wasn't designed for the people that lived there as it was hazardous and constantly filled with death around them, but in the end the people had managed to survive somehow.

To hear someone could tread through all of the dangers and still come out victorious after dealing with the noble powers was unimaginable.

"I would like to inform you all that your Lords have surrendered and joined the Sicarius Clan.

They will be currently staying at Vileta, leaving their lands in the care of the administrative members of the clan for now.

To those listening who live within those lands… I wish for nothing more but peace and prosperity for my people…

Dying of hunger or status is a disgusting problem that has festered our kind, while we blame those that are misfortunate, we do nothing to help them up.

This type of thinking has been embedded into your minds by the Church and Trika Empire who wish you do not think for yourselves and become mindless puppets for them to control.

These people right here… are Mages of the Trika Empire that came along with the Church of Eternal Lights Paladins who came as Envoys…

They tried to forc… Well before I lose myself to my emotions, I shall leave their judgement to a friend…

Guardian… Rahzil Pendreva Sicarius… I will leave it to you…"

The camera changed from the masked Esmond to Rahzil who was standing to the back.

.

"Thank you, Chief…

Now… a Young Lady of the town Vileta,… was approached by two Mages at the call of one man… Henry Dormer.

And yes… he's the son of the Grand Duke Dormer…"

Rahzil displayed the memories of Henry ordering his henchmen to grab the poor girl who was about to cross the bridge that led over the bridge.

The image of the altercation that went down from various angles showed the events, from the girl being grabbed and the members of the Envoy ignoring the actions.

Even the screams of the young gril were caught out plus the attacks she sustained until Rahzils interference, from where it cut off and returned to Rahzil back at Vileta.

"As you can see, these individuals… showed no goodwill from the beginning, even though their jobs were envoys of the Church and Empire, yet they ignored the actions of their fellow traveller.

These acts will not be allowed within the lands of Vaadan not matter your status…

For their actions these three men will face the judgement of the Old Gods…"

.

Esmond watched closely from his position on the stage as Rahzil activated 12th Grade Magic Spells that were beginning to form in his palms before converging at the tips of his fingers.

Each of his ten fingers held onto a 12th Grade Spell that were connected at the base of the spell's foundation, but the rest of the spell had his own uniqueness.

After trying to keep up with the changes that were occurring within Rahzils hands, Esmond was lost once his hands started to converge all of the spells together.

At that point it sparked a mixture of elements that were formed from Pure Dark and Pure Light by Rahzil.

The two elements had converged together, creating a controlled explosion which revealed three towering individuals that stood roughly tall at 12 feet.

They were dressed in gold that sparkled like the sunlight while their fabric flowed around their bodies like it was a living creature.

Even the white pupils supressed of the three giants suppressed all that looked up in their direction.

Those watching from other towns or villages through the Vaadan Region were able to see the Godly faces of the three giants that looked down on the world with their eyes of scorn.

.

'"Who has summoned us!

The Three Gods of Anir!"' Their voice echoed throughout the lands, easily reaching the ears and minds of all who watched them either in person or through the powers of Esmonds equipment.

"Welcome, Three Gods of Anir…

This humble servant has summoned you to these lands that have long forgotten your powers…" Rahzil deeply bowed before the Gods that had the Elements of Light and Dark float around their bodies.

The chairs they sat upon was made of the same elements that raced around their bodies.

Esmond didn't express any emotion right now, instead he focused on the evens proceeding before his eyes.

Some of the people in the crowd before the platform were about to kneel but Esmond stood them back up with his control over Lifeforce.

Unfortunately, his actions didn't escape the eyes of the Gods who gave Esmond one look before returning their gaze onto Rahzil.

Feeling the pressure of the Gods on his body, Esmond felt kind of intoxicated by the challenge to fight against their might and successfully fought off their intrusion into his body.

'None of my people will ever kneel before another God… ever…' Esmond was ready to fight the Gods if they challenged him, but they didn't seem interested and were instead focused on the man that summoned them.

.

'"Indeed, We have been away from this land for far too long…

So, what is it that you require of us!"' The voice of the Gods merged when they spoke together, leaving a weird resonating sound within the air after they said something.

"I hope to ask the Three Gods of Anir to oversee the judgement of these guilty mean, caught by the laws of the mortal." Rahzil stopped bowing at this point and was staring directly at the Gods.

Being the one to summon the Gods, he had some immunity from their powers and effects they influenced on the surrounding space.

Rahzil wasn't all that thrilled to be in charge of organising the judgement of the three Mages, but he understood it was important that he was the one to do it.

Carter, Nedric, and Gabriel had convinced him to take on the role instead of Esmond, since they knew it could act as a triggering point and lead him to make a decision he would regret in the future.
