章節 51: [Two Ancient Orders...
"OH MY GOD! LOOK AT THE FUCKING MESS!" Carter screamed as the furniture was suddenly soaking in blood from Esmonds armour and attire, as he reappeared in the seat he'd left from.
Carters' screams were enough for Esmond to figure out how screwed they were.
Thankfully it was only 10 o'clock in the morning and their parents hadn't woken up just yet, so Esmond shifted to the bathroom, leaving Carter to call Echo, as they frantically cleaned the lounge and replaced the furniture that soaked with blood.
They did their best to make it seem like nothing had changed at all, with Carter cursing Esmond under his breath the entire time, however Esmond was rather occupied about heading towards the Summoning Square and meeting with his newest recruits.
Without saying anything, Esmond left for the Second city after his shower and called Echo, as he knew Carter would be furious, he sneaked out, unfortunately…
"Do you really think I am so daft, Esy…?"
"Sorry…"
"*Sigh* Errrghhh…
Sometimes… just some fucking times… I swear… every death in the past… you fucking deserved it all…"
"… Except for the time Dei did it…"
"Ohh shit! Damn! Not that dark!
… Just the more light-hearted deaths, you know…. Killed by your mother or dad.
Sometimes your bros and shit.
That stuff, not fucking Dei!

Both Esmond and Carter stood at the square reminiscing about the past, agreeing with the statement Carter made about it being a dark life.
Born as a bastard child of the Emperor, Esmond was sent to a cult by the Empress that developed into some horrific things.
Esmond didn't mind anything that he came across during his upbringing in the cult, as his soul and mind was attuned to far worse at that point, so it seemed like a weird holiday.
They were into necromancy and other magic that was forbidden and frowned upon, however Esmond being the freak he is, quickly learnt everything the cult had to teach him before he started to create his own magic.
After that the cult become something of a menace that grew beyond the control of the Empress, eventually leading to them being massacred by the Empress Royal Guards.
Esmond happened to survive the battle at the time and left, disguised as one of the knights that he came across during the fight he'd slayed.
Absorbing the body, Esmond adapted to the Knights life and became something of a heroic knight for the same Empire that his father ruled.
There were never any plans to kill the Emperor or Empress in Esmonds mind because he enjoyed his simple life as an orphaned knight.
That was until he met Dealia, a maid of the Empress's palace.
Very quickly their fortunate meeting developed into a relationship that was to turn into a partnership for life, but news reached the Empress about one of her maids requesting marriage and the Empress's grace as it was the norm by cultural standards.
Instead, the Empress scolded her and beat her into submission before tasking her with killing Esmond when they slept together next.
The Empress couldn't handle anyone taking anything from her, regardless of if being a maid or even a peddle out in her garden.
It was all hers!
And because of the hypnosis on Dei, once Esmond was poisoned through her meal for him that paralysed him, she then began to slowly gut away at him with her consciousness fully aware what was happening.
She was screaming for it to stop, but there was nothing to be done, so Esmond watched slowly and agonisingly as the woman he loved gutted him.
All he could do was smile to reassure it was ok, as Dei mind broke while watching the love of her life pass away before her very eyes.
After that, her life was destined to be horribly abused and tortured by the Empress and her guards but before any of that could happen, a knight from the Emperors guard striked her down before she could be further manipulated as respect for a dear.

"… Right, let's not talk about that anymore…
Are you ready?"
"Let it rip, Carter."
Esmond said as he summoned his System Interface and accepted his rewards, which all spawned at once on the Summoning Square within the Second City.
Before the two of them stood a hundred plus humans from both Orders, men, and women, all looking around for answers before they saw Esmond and Carter.
They were all wondering what was going on, Oscar, the representative for the G.A.E humans stood for and started to organise everyone and where they needed to go.
Because the Thazukraans were also added to the Summoning Square, Esmond had them spawned earlier, therefore Oscar and Aksel were already around to help with the new group that'd arrived.
They took the Templar and Assassin soldiers away, leaving the executives of both Orders behind to be dealt with by their Lord.
The soldiers all left happily, with many of them wondering about their new and unusual surroundings, as the executives followed Esmond and Carter into the palace before they were seated and wined before the discussion began.
Mind you, Esmond didn't need to seem so cordial with his people, especially when they are summoned as a reward since the system would inform them about their change of loyalty and what not, but it was still a shock to take in and bear with.
Also, Esmond wanted to be close with his vassals, no matter who they were, so he asked to sit down and discuss what they remembered and knew before appearing within the space.

"If you don't mind, I would love to know about your pasts before arriving here as well as what you can make of the information that'll be sent to you shortly…"
They were wondering what Esmond was talking about but soon enough their minds were filled with certain information pertaining to Esmonds plans for his creating his empire and the current world politics and position.
Causing of the Universal Essences influence on the Spatial Ark Star World, Esmond Carter, Echo, and Isabelle were finding a deeper connection with the space as time passed by, eventually realising what could be achieved with their ability to link up with the residents.
One of the members of the Inner Sanctum spoke up, trying her best to ensure she would be taking the best step forward for her Order, "I greet the Father of Understanding…"
As the words left her mouth, the other members of the Templar Order got up from their seats and bowed deeply for Esmond, proudly proclaiming, '"We greet the Father of Understanding…!"'
Esmond knew what was happening but didn't say anything and just asked them to sit down.
The Assassins were worried that it might put them in a worse position if they didn't show some declaration of faith, but Esmond stopped them before they could do anything, "While I grateful for the title and honour it holds, do not believe it will lead me to expel one Order for the other.
Both are crucial and important to me, so work together where you have to and ensure the Empire can come to fruition, otherwise all our work will be pointless.
Now that I have said that, would you like to continue miss…?"
Esmond was looking directly at the lady who started the title crap, as he wanted to hear what else would come out her trap.
The young lady sparkled in the worst of times as she looked towards Esmond, brushing her golden silky hair to the side as she cleared her throat, "My name is Penelope Raghar, an exec-… former chief executive officer of the Abstergo Financial Group, now that is…"
"I see, it's an honour to meet you Miss Raghar…"
"Please, Father, call me Penelope…"
'Rwoaw! Father ~ … sounds… not hot at all… hahahah!'
Carter was laughing in Esmonds head as he could do it face to face in front of everyone, so he just laughed in Esmonds mind, trying to break him.
There was a slight eye twitch as Esmond continued to hear Carter laugh aloud, which left him to continue with Carter dying a slow death from laughter.

"Erghm *Cough*… If you don't mind… lets, not go with Father… how about Lord…?
My name is Esmond Manston, but feel free to address me however you feel comfortable."
"Thank you, Lord… Esmond…" Penelope said, finding it somewhat difficult at first to say, "I would like to think if we have access to some of our resources from the past, I believe we should be able to create another conglomerate empire within no time and also help with research development."
"Mmm… I wouldn't mind trialling out the animus system, but research wise I have the Institute within the space, which I believe has also summoned some Templar Scientists and some families' members of individuals here as well.
Regardless, without the Piece of Eden in play between the two Orders and you both working to help build the Empire, what can you do…?" Esmond thought his words weren't harsh at all and rather he was asking a question, but to everyone in attendance, it made them look bad.
Some thought Esmond was already furious with them, before they had even done any real work.
Thankfully, some realised what was going on and decided to speak up instead.
"Lord Esmond, I am the Mentor of the Assassins Order, Aryan Waseem, and if I may say, your current strategy fails to address the political mess throughout the world.
I suspect you wish to introduce your own people into that mess however it's much easier to navigate the mess once you pull someone towards your cause instead…
With the help of the Templars charm and the ability of the Assassins, it shouldn't be difficult for us to hold the world within our palms…"
Esmond was lost for words as were the countless Assassins and Templars who couldn't believe what Aryan had just said.
They all agreed with his words regardless, but it was still shocking to hear it from him.
Penelope agreed it would be ideal for them to first see what they had available to them, to which Esmond also agreed and decided to take a few people to Argeia for a second before he heard the magic sounds and then came back with everyone.

While Esmond was having a read of the system notifications and listening to the discussions of the Assassins and Templar Leadership, outside of the Spatial Ark Star World, worldwide changes were happening throughout all sorts of places.

Deep below the surface of St. Peter's Basilica, an earth and soil began to fold into the unknown void as a whole space as large and expansive in size to that of the St. Peter's Square.
The walls were constructed from streel and a mixture of other materials that kept the place standing.
For a moment the barrel metal sarcophagus was all that stood but again the unknown void rippled through the metal sarcophagus until he was filled with gismos, items, technology, and various other things.
Finally, the unknown void left behind dozens of people, seemingly looked completely void of life until seconds later as the ripples settled and disappeared, leaving them alone, underground…
'"May the Father of Understanding guide us…"' they all said at once in perfect harmony before some of them started to pile out of the underground shelter, leaving only a few behind that wished to get in touch with the rest of the order.
Up above, throughout the expansive Vatican City, priests, bishops, security, and other minds were filled with knowledge of the bishops and cardinals that were created by the unknown ripple of void.
History of their presence filled their minds and the books of history throughout the papal enclave, though it wasn't the only place to change around the world….

Near the Joggins Cliffs, a cave was formed away from prying eyes, shielded by the powers of Esmonds system.
Deep down, a network of cave paths was created to help keep any greasy hands from touching the wealth that was stored here.
Below, similar to Vatican City, the unknown void ripple ate away at the soil and rocks, creating a massive underground treasury that stretched as far as one could see, filled with gold, treasures, texts and other earthly legends.
Further away in Alexandria, Egypt, another building related to the Orders was created from the unknown, as were many others around the globe.
Soon all the information came rushing down onto the shoulders of Carter, who cursed Esmonds name…
