Nigo was on his way to class this morning as he took notice of changes that had happened due to the death of the section elder.
He was unusually early to school today and it was because he wanted to meet zara as soon as he arrived.
The hall way was filled with students as everyone turned to look at him the moment he passed by. News had already spread that he was present when the section elder had died.
The news had different variants and they were exaggerated to say the least, even the news of the death of Ejiro had already spread like wild fire amongst the students.
The pert of the Nascent sec to on building that was destroyed by the star meteorite was already under reconstruction and was almost finished.
It was expected of a school that was financed by all the nation's and the guardian himself.
The students all looked at nigo one after another and he could notice something in their gaze, some were of pity, others were of surprise while there was off course those of disdain.
Nigo also noticed that the teachers and the strict other of the school were missing, this was due to the death of the section elder or so he had thought but
"If it isn't the guardian's brat nigo" The mocking voice of a youngster sounded behind nigo
Nigo didn't turn back to respond he had expected such to happen. He was still moving when a hand caught him from behind
"Don't move when our boss is talking to you!" he heard loud in his ear
"Boss?" Nigo said and turned back to see the person who had touched him, his eyes narrowed to slits when he noticed that the hand belonged to Yushi the oldest kid in class.
Yushi was three years older than nigo but he was just a delinquent, all he did was go around looking for opportunities to bully people along with his crew.
He was overgrown and his talent was considered the lowest in class except nigo,he was in the A tier of the beginner user domain but his raw strength was the real deal .
He has a bulky build and is huge to go with it. His hair short and his face fat, he doesn't have any special quality except his build.
Yushi was not the only one nigo saw when he turned, he also saw Nelson and Xiao ling.
Nig o's eyes sank slightly because of the force Yushi was exerting on his shoulder, such force couldn't be used against another student because of the penalty of expulsion.
"Boss? Are you questioning the bosses order?" Nelson was the one that rebuked nigo this time around.
Nelson was a very handsome boy with blond hair and blue eyes, he had a frail looking body and had a soft skin, but he was incredibly talented he was a dual user and he was in the B- tier of the staff user domain.
Nigo didn't respond he only looked at the kid in the middle, he is the son of a senator of the Flame empire and he was also the leader of the group, the strongest of the trio and a proud User at the A - tier of the staff user domain.
He is aboy who is also handsome but not as handsome as Nigo or Nelson, he has silver coloured hair and gold- brown pupils, he was a very arrogant fellow so people avoided him. His name : Xiao ling
"Xiao ling, what's the meaning of this?" Nigo asked in a calm voice
"Boss should I teach him a lesson to correct his mouth?" Yushi said
"That's not necessary, don't you know he is the guardian's son?" Xiao ling said in a mocking tone
He looked at nigo and said "You are weak yet you plan to contend with me, don't you have any fear?"
Nigo looked at him not averting his gaze he knew someone like Xiao ling wasn't stupid enough to risk being expelled from the school so he had nothing to fear.
"Is that so?" Nigo asked
"Yes it is" Xiao ling said moving forward"Do you not know how that is?"
"No, I don't" Nigo said
"Oh you don't ay......"
Bang!
Xiao ling kicked him to the wall of the hall way
Boom!
He landed heavily on the wall , at this point people started rushing over to them.
Nigo was in serious pain but to their surprise he wasn't bleeding, although xiao ling used a tiny bit of his power that should have been enough to knock him out.
Nigo slide on the wall till he sat down, he looked at xiao ling without fear and said "Aren't you afraid of getting expelled from school "
"Hahahahahaha. ...." xiao ling burst into laughter.
Nelson and Yushi joined in too, they were laughing at the top of their voices.
Felt something off about their laugh, it was because it wasn't forced in any way nevertheless he was still calm.
"Tsk, Tsk, nigo you make me laugh" Xiao ling said as he stopped laughing, he looked at nigo and said, "you are so naive"
"Do you think this school is the same as it was when you left it?" He asked with a mocking tone on his face.
Seeing that nigo didn't respond he continued "With the death of the section elder there is no one to maintain law and order in this section, the teachers are concerned about the repair of the school building and also teaching they barely have time to spare, so if you don't know what is good for you then listen to what I have to say: there is no one to save you"
Nigo was shocked by what he just heard, this explains why the school is completely different from when he left. He looked at xiao ling with a calm expression and said "what do you have to do with me?"
"Now you are talking!" Xiao ling said with a smile
He bent down to meet nigo's face directly and said "you are an obstacle to my plans with zara"
"Hahahahahaha...." Nigo laughed at him before stopping "and how is that"
"Do you think everyone is blind, don't you know that we all know you have feelings for zara" Xiao ling said still with a smile of contempt.
"Oh is that so?" Nigo said "So what if there is nothing between us"
"I know that if that is what you want to say, no girl in their right mind would love a cripple like you, she simply took pity on you out of her kindness and chose to be your friend" xiao ling said with confidence then his face grew grim
"But I'm just here to give you a little warning, if you don't stay away from zara, you won't like what I'll do to you."
"And if I don't, what would you do?" Nigo asked not backing down one bit.
Xiao ling held his arm and twisted it" I'll break every piece of bone in your body until you submit"
"Boss let's not waste time on this losses, just let me teach him a lesson and he would be begging for forgiveness on his knees" Yushi said, he was eager to beat the hell out of nigo.
"....." just as Xiao ling wanted to reply the gathered crowd gave way and a person walked through.
Xiao ling's eyes froze and sweat broke out from his body. It was because the person who had walked out from the crowd was non other than the crown prince of the Flame empire.
The person is a kid around the same age as nigo, he was exceptionally handsome to the point some people would call him beautiful. He has black long hair which he packed and let two folds fall to both sides of his face.
He has black eyes and an aloof expression on his face, he didn't even look to the direction of nigo who was in distress, logically everyone would expect royalty to have a sense of protecting their citizens but this guy was the direct opposite of that, he was hardly seen and when he showed up he never cared for what was happening around him one bit.
Although he was ridiculously powerful, a user it the A- tier of the Veteran User domain, the proud prince of the Flame continent, Ryu Tadashi
When nigo saw him, he had expected him to at the very least rebuke xiao ling but he just walked by without sparing them a glance.
Nigo was surprised but he had to get out of this situation as fast as possible and this was his only chance, zara wasn't around so that was another case altogether.
Nigo gritted his teeth and shouted at Tadashi "Are you just going to pass by just like that?"
No one was surprised by what nigo just did he was the guardian's son, so he could speak with anyone he wanted to talk to.
Tadashi still ignored him, he acted like he didn't just hear those words.
Nigo became some what annoyed, he wasn't angry because Tadashi ignored him he was angry because Tadashi was rubbing the name of the whole flame empire in the mud.
"Is that how the prince of the Flame empire behaves, are you seriously planning to ruin it's name in front of everyone present" Nigo shouted
Tadashi stopped and turned around to look at him, he had a calm expression despite what nigo had said "And you are?"
"Do you need to know who I am to help me?" Nigo asked as xiao ling band his gang began to back away, they didn't want any thing to do with this.
The school was filled with experts from all over the world, so any wrong behaviour from any person who is from the top echelons of power would be spread to the whole world at once, hence Tadashi ' behaviour was considered a stain to the reputation of the whole continent.
"I asked who you were" Tadashi asked nigo
"Is that how you were raised?" Nigo said "As a citizen of the Flame continent I am deeply ashamed of you" Nigo continued as he began to rise to his feet.
Tadashi eyed nigo and noticed he was a cripple. He took in a deep breath and said "A cripple like you does not warrant my time and energy"
"Heh....... With that attitude of yours, you would never be Flame emperor" Nigo said ignoring his statement, he was too angry to care about what Tadashi had to say
"What!....... I didn't hear you well say it again" Tadashi said with his blood boiling
At this point everyone began to move backwards from the duo. Tadashi is an expert in the Veteran User domain therfore releasing just a tiny bit of his energy could cause them to receive injuries.
Tadashi had control over the his energy despite his rage therefore his intimidating aura was focused on nigo but for some reason nigo couldn't feel the pressure coming from him so he was still unfazed by Tadashi's might
Tadashi was surprised by this cripple who could withstand his pressure but his rage overcame the thoughts
Nigo began to walk forward without any form of difficulty, this time everyone present were dumbfounded, they were shocked that nigo was capable of moving under the pressure of Tadashi's utility energy.
"I have met Lord emperor in the past and just from that meeting alone your character is a far cry from his in every way, no wonder you aren't as popular as your brother" Nigo said when he was about three feet away from Tadashi.
Tadashi thought for a moment but still couldn't come up with anyone he had seen in the imperial palace or in school who had seen his father in person that matched nigo's appearance.
"And that is why, a fool like you can never become Flame emperor"
Bang!!
Th effort beneath caved in and stones filled the air as Tadashi took off in his rage even the sound barrier crumbled like paper in water at his might, this all came from the residual energy that leaked out off his control due to rage.
There was no element released it was only his fist yet the ground continued to shatter as he flew towards nigo.
Nigo felt a jolt in his body for an instant and for that instant he could see Tadashi's fist flying towards his face along with the energy to the left, he moved his body for ten inches to the right
Boom!!
The earth behind nigo formed a long trail of shattered stones as Tadashi missed his punch.
The scene had happened so fast that no one could see it except Tadashi and nigo so they only received the shock wave of power.
Tadashi looked at nigo wondering if his eyes had been deceiving him, this cripple had dodged his surprise attack and was still standing.
He was still somewhat relieved by the fact that nigo managed to dodge it because if that punch had made contact, nigo would've died on the spot.
Nigo looked at the fist at the side of his face and made a quick jump to the side.
"You can't even harm a cripple and you loose your cool easily, yet you plan to become flame emperor. What a joke" Nigo said genuinely without the intention of mocking Tadashi "Tsk Tsk even the citizens of other continents are looking face because of you stupidity"
"YOU BASTARD!!" Tadashi shouted as he pounced at nigo, he didn't loose control this time for fear of killing nigo in the process.
Bang!
He punched nigo in the face without any utility energy but how could a cripple be compared to a User at the Veteran user domain, the toughness of their skins were like comparing the heavens and earth
Nigo was sent flying but Tadashi didn't let him land before jumping to him mid air and punching him to the ground, at this point blood was already spewing out of nigo's orifices
Bang!
He crashed to the ground and made a dent on it.
Tadashi landed on him and released consecutive punches at his face.
The scene was so brutal that those with weak hearts looked away, everyone except xiao ling and his crew were disgusted but they couldn't stop Tadashi due to fear. Nigo had brought this on himself by what he said but everything he spoke was true.
Those who were from the Flame continent clenched their fist in shame of what the prince of their continent was doing, This was not a display of power but that of foolishness.
Blood kept flying into the air but none of them stained Tadashi, he was about to give nigo another punch to the face
Pah!
A hand caught him mid way.
