Thorin shook Zi Mei's hands.

"Here's to being roommates with benefits," Thorin said, winking at her mischievously.

"No, no, no, no benefits!" she replied adamantly.

As much as she is attracted to him and her traitorous body wants to jump on him, she will try NOT to get in bed with him. At least, not yet. She needs to get over her trauma from the miscarriage first. She might just freeze up the moment they got on the bed. It would not be good for her and for him if that happened.

"Hmmm…are you sure? It'll be kinda boring to just be regular roommates," Thorin looked disappointed.

"Well, I definitely expect you to do your part as a roommate, please just don't leave a mess," she told him. Thorin rolled his eyes at her. He gestured at his immaculate white shirt and suit.

"Look at me, lil Zi, do I look like the type to clean up messes I left behind??" he asked.
