Johnny couldn't take his eyes off her. He couldn't even if he tried. It was past eight on a Friday night and they were supposed to be relaxing from the stressful week they both had in her living room but Navaya couldn't seem to sit still for longer than a few minutes at a time. She fleeted about so much and his gaze tracked her every move. She claimed she just wanted to finish up her nighttime routine but he knew when she was nervous about something.

The urge to wrap an arm around her waist and plop her down on his lap rose inside of him and the longer she spent away from him, the more he wanted to do just that. It had been almost three weeks since they gave into their desires for one another and since then there hadn't been a night they didn't spend together. It was either at his house or hers, his bed or her sofa. Except tonight. Tonight, she was acting strange.
