章節 100: Deep in pocket
Helena's eyes fluttered from the sunlight beaming from the window of her room. She lifts the blanket, covering her head to hide from the sunlight not wanting to get up to pull the curtain shut. Thinking of she needed to lay low for at least 48 hours for "recovery", she needed to find something to do or she will die of boredom and possibly gets reincarnated again.
The thoughts of reincarnation again, jolted her up immediately and she gets up putting on her home fluffy slippers to head to the bathroom to get freshen up and leave the house once Elster and Francesca leaves to the company. She can not be seen by them since Eleanor faked whipping her might raise suspicion. Her mother is aware of the father and daughter schemes and refused to let her daughter became a victim of it.
Brushing her teeth and staring at her face in the mirror, she notice her cheeks is more rounder than a month ago when she first woke up to this world. She tried biting her inner cheek to see if she has put on weight since her appetite here is like a glutton.
Changing into a pair of leggings and a sports bra, she tried meditating and calming herself before starting her yoga routine. She needed to strengthen her core to be able to maintain her sanity living with the two snakes.

Francesca sat on the chair looking in the vanity mirror, dusting the powder and dub it all over her face for the final touch, she smiled inwardly in satisfaction. Her cheek is rosy from the blusher she put on and her lips is moist and glisten from the lip oil she smeared all over it. She stood checking her soft silky skirt and making sure to spray some perfume to compliment her soft demure today.
She planned on going to Royal Continentsl hotel today to meet Daniel, since Miranda and Helena ruined her plan at the banquet last night, she figured out a perfect plan to meet Daniel.
Leaving her room, she glanced onto Helena's bedroom door and smirked before passing it and descended the stairs full of victory. No one is in the dining table, since Elster and Eleanor both had left earlier to the hospital to treat Elster bruised back. She gracefully sat and eat her breakfast in peace.
"Young Miss...Young Miss" Wanda the housekeeper came approaching to her side. She knelt down to talk to Francesca.
"Have that brat come down yet?"
"No young Miss, but I will keep an eye on her today"
"Good..report to me, I will buy something for you today, now go before Eleanor's supporter sees you here"
Wanda scurried to the back looking around to see if anyone caught her conversation with Francesca.
Helena on the other hand, was about to have her breakfast when she heard their conversation, her ability to eavesdropped did not disappoint her today, she had figured which of the housekeeper deep in Francesca's pocket. Returning back to her room, she messed her hair and put on a little bit of make up on the side
of her mouth resembling a bruise before going down stairs.
She needed for Francesca to see her haggard looked that way she won't be needing to snoop around leaving the house. If Wanda is Francesca's minion, she needed to find Elster's loyal supporter next.
The staircase is located between the dining area and the living room, any sound from the stairs can be heard from either sides, since the villa has an open concept plan except the wet kitchen located at the back before the workers quarters.
Francesca looked behind her when she saw Helena messy hair and bruised lips coming to have breakfast as well..
"Come on Helena, have a seat and have some breakfast, I'll call Wanda to pour some tea for you" Francesca called Wanda nearby to get Helena some dishes.
"You are good you know..." Helena amused.
"Good? What do you mean?" Francesca fiddling her hand under the table nervous.
"Good at playing host in my house" She saw Wanda coming with a steaming teacup on a tray.
"Helena, isn't this our house?, you and I have the same father" Francesca composed her temper from getting riled up.
"Yeah we have the same father, however this is my mom's house and not your mom"
"Helena!! Enough of this..i know I am an illegitimate child, I have feelings too you know, you take everything for granted. If you are mad because I have to tell dad about Alice Vaughn, I am sorry..but I needed to tell him so he is aware that we have to apologize to the Vaughn!!"
Her chest heave up and down hating the fact that Helena constantly rubbing the salt on her wound.
"Even your mom is upset about your behavior!, just stay at home and don't create anymore trouble" She dab the napkin on the side of her mouth, then throwing on the table before leaving instantly. Lately her patience has worn thin on Helena. She needed to be part of Anderson to ruin her life. Matthew is not picking up his phone and last night their plan was completely ruined. The last message she received from him was to let her know, Helena never show up at the hotel. Even the person he hired to grab her was gone without a trace.
Upon seeing Francesca leaving, Wanda stares deep at the table. She figured since Elster has the company and Francesca is Elster's favorite, it is a no-brainer to be on Francesca's side and defend her. If she would have shown she can get Helena in check, perhaps she can be promoted to Francesca's right-hand woman and no longer have to do any chores here. She can take Jamaya's place as the lead Housekeeper. Jamaya is Eleanor's helper, she managed the task at home and accompanied Eleanor anywhere she goes. Jamaya has been following Eleanor before she even married the Lees.
She muster the courage and brought the steaming hot tea cup to pour it on Helena's face, she walked steadily nearing the table to do the unimaginable, before she closing in on the table, Helena stood abruptly and take two steps back from the chair and it startled Wanda that still trembling holding the teacup on her hand.
"Now...now...isnt that a little too much, to try hurting me?"
