Not worth it, MC gains no personal power while his whole country gets superpowers and gifts
I read to chapter 103 before deciding to drop this book. Overall, a decent read though I feel like the author makes up most of his worldbuilding as he goes since there is stuff that just doesn’t make sense, than is sort of explained. One example (mild spoiler) is that people lose lifetime as their representatives taking part in this tower defense die. Far later in the book, it’s explained that successful defense increases lifetime expectancy. *Spoiler* I hate when the protagonist gets the ability to effectively enslave people. No matter how you dress it up, it just disappoints me.

Marked completed, not complete. This westernization policy is GARBAGE. Good god this is a disgrace, blatant plagiarism, LYING to the users, webnovel has really fallen. Im disappointed. This novel was good at first. Obviously, this is a novel where the main character is op, but it was nice. But at some point, the novel started to go too fast. The author must have gotten lost, hence the need for authors to re-read their novels and take notes. In the end, for some reason, the author decided to stop this novel. This is unacceptable. He can mark it as giving up or writing a bad ending, but not mark his novel as finished when it isn't. I think the author should have prepared his story better, otherwise there was some idea. But he got too lost. Finally, I think the other opinions are quite harsh or extreme.
Read all the chapters and really enjoyed the book. Sad it just stopped in the middle.

Don t know where to start.... Let s just say too op isn't good, too lucky isn't fun. Just summarize half the story. Was hyped by the first tower defense novel I found after dungeon defense and tried hard to enjoy it. But it's just some bad joke that shouldn't have been published in this app. The idea isn't bad: from each country in the planet 100 "random" guys got telephoned to frol what I m guessing another planet and they have to defend their cities from attacks. Each wave give them some points and give their countries some rewards. Good right? not half bad. well that s the only good part that wasn't even well developed. The rest is like the character is playing a game with tutorial on and cheat everywhere, the rest are just being slain do that Mc would look too good. Well he was teleported alone while the others were 100. So the "game" wanted to be fair by giving everything to just chill and let the rest be handled on it s own. No depth, characters are blunt with no personality. Each wave is pushing the Mc and his country to godhood while the second place isn't getting a tenth of what the Mc is getting Anyway the more I remember that I lost an afternoon reading this junk, the angrier I get Read at your own risk

This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worst case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.

An utter trash of a novel with warped logic and no sense of character improvements for the MC. All other characters are mere decorations that just serves to boost MC in the story.
Made it to chapter 9 before I had to put it down. The setting is great. Each country gets pulled into a game that plays very much like Hunger Games, where each country has certain quotas of people to defend their tower. If they fail to defend the tower with each wave of enemies, their country in the real world gets invaded by those same creatures in the real world. Good ideas, but terrible execution. The writing is amateur in that 50% of the time, the page is filled up with netizens chatting, trolling, scolding or praising whatever is happening in this Tower world as it is livestreaming. The useless netizens chatter is constant, and happens almost every time the MC does anything. These anonymous users are either used either as a set up for a faceslap, or is a faceslap happening so that MC can be praised and his ego boosted after every move. These useless chatter gets so intrusive that by chapter 9 I was already fed up.

i've read up to chapter 98. The main thing about the novel is the golden hint that tells him the, well, hints, is not used very much after like chapter 50 ish. Even if it was used, it didnt help much at all. The main point of the novel is gone and he only uses his "headstart" to progress even more, +/- plot armor. This ended up kinda boring. Sure, i can finish it but i dont want to force myself when there are many other good books. Not to mention this translation was westernised so thats why im giving it 1 star too. Westernising takes away the quality by quite a bit.
