章節 53: JUST ASKING HIM

Irene woke up that morning with a loud grunt, a bit too much like an old person.  Make Victor, who was sitting next to her on the bed while reading a book, smiled at her now.  He only finds her adorable anyway, whatever she did.

"Morning..."  Irene greeted the man with her hoarse voice. 

Her eyes then seemed to want to close again.  Yesterday, she asked Victor for a day off.  She wanted to rest today.  Well, it's not entirely rest as in the afternoon she and Anne will be gone to the bridal boutique for her to find her wedding dress.

This time, Victor just oblige.  Too easily.  She also felt shock by that approval.  But she didn't want to ask why he gives her day off easily, afraid if he will cancel it suddenly.  She can't risk it!

"Good morning."  Victor brushed Irene's rather tangled hair with his finger there.
