章節 75: Prayers

The following morning, I was politely requested to present myself before the elders and chieftains once more.

“I only wish that people in the Imperial Palace were this polite,” I said after the messenger left me alone with Khutulun. We had moved to her tent in the dead of the night before the urge to ravage her once again grew inside my chest and I had loved her thoroughly until her body passed from exhaustion once again.

Khutulun, bless her soul, smiled tiredly at me from her own bed. Her naked body glistened under the shade, and yet her smile couldn’t be wider.

“I think I won’t be attending this time… the gods know I would be a pitiful sight.”

I closed in and kissed her lips tenderly.

“A gorgeous sight. There is nothing pitiful about you.”

“Stop making me want you. I am still sore, and I need to clean myself. Perhaps even summon the healers to see all the love-bites you left on my body. I don’t think I’ll be able to walk straight for a couple of days.”
