"What is wrong with you?" Alexi chided Sam, but he chuckled: "Oh, come on man, the man is smitten. Anyone with eyes can see that."

"It's not for you to joke about. He is a married man."

“What does it have to do with anything?" Sam shrugged his shoulders. "Married or not, his wife will not know."

"But God will now leave it."

"You and your God," he humph as he marched to his tent. He could not understand the changes with Alexi. In the past the man had no problems with sleeping around. It became a sport between them. They scratched when the itch became uncontrollable. However, since he came back eighteen months ago, the changes in his friend irked him. They were still partners and Alexi laughed at his shenanigans, but the moment he wanted to have fun, Alexi became bottled up. He had found God. His friend, who never believed in anything except his sniper rifle and the military, was now religious. What was the world coming to?
