Early in the morning, Elsa slowly opened her eyes, feeling the pain all over her body as if a storm had struck her body. As soon as she awoke, her mind immediately gathered what had happened the day before.
She has to face this reality now. "Lord, please protect my relatives, the grief of losing a loved one is unbearable, don't let them face such a terrible situation again, if you want to take someone then took me instead of them," innocent Elsa sincerely prayed to God.
"Knock, knock!" Elsa, have you woken up. Opened the door. I'm worried, Elsa." Hearing her mother's voice, she eased her heart and proceeded to open the door...
"Good morning, Moth..." Before she could finish her greeting, her mother hugged her tightly. Elsa lightly rubbed her mother's back and whispered near her ear, "I'm fine mom, sorry for worrying you."
"Okay. I am glad that you are fine. Now get fresh, I have made your favorite fruit custard today."
"Okay, thanks, I'll be at the breakfast table in a minute," Elsa spoke slowly, the cheerfulness was missing today.
Elsa came to the breakfast table after half an hour and saw her parents were discussing a matter. Even her presence was left unnoticeable by them.
"What are you talking about?" Elsa asked.
"Elsa, come here daughter." Robert took her hand and made her sit beside him.
"We have received the king's invitation." Her mother shook the royal letter before her eyes.
"An invitation!" Elsa exclaimed.
"Elsa," her father turned his face to her, "Our king is coronating again, and he announced a great feast for everyone in this kingdom. We don't know the exact reason, but we have to go."
"You said, again? Elsa asked curiously.
"Honey, we didn't tell you that in this kingdom we have vampires like witches.
50 years ago humans made a peace agreement with both of them, but we were young then, so we heard from your grandfather," Jasmine said many secrets of this kingdom but in pieces.
"Everyone said that the king killed himself because of the corruption of his heart. It had made him violent and mad, but these are baseless rumors after getting this invitation anyone can tell," Robert said
"Before the settlement, vampires used to kill humans. They used humans as their blood suppliers. Even rumors say that the king destroyed many villages for his entertainment."
'Then why should we go to such an event? I won't go, Mom," protested Elsa.
Hearing about his stubborn girl, Robert was terrified. "No, Elsa, he's our king. We have to listen to his orders. They are just rumors, Elsa. Maybe they were true, but it happened a long time ago."
"Tell me who killed Iris. It can't be an animal, so it must be a vampire, right, Mother?" Elsa shouted but didn't tell them about her dream where she saw how Iris was killed by a vampire.
They all sat quietly and her parents had nothing to say because Elsa was right. A vampire was one of the reasons Iris was now dead.
"Okay, but before that, I'll go to the crematorium to see Iris. Alone," Elsa said after thinking deeply.
"Elsa just take care of yourself. Her mother may be upset with you, don't mind her," Jasmine warned her.
Elsa nodded and left the house. At the crematorium, she slowly sat in front of the grave, planted some of Iris' favorite flowers, then caressed her grave. she closed those blue eyes and wrinkled her brows, drowning herself in unbearable sorrow.
"Iris, I miss you. Can you forgive me?" Elsa murmured.
"No, she will never forgive you, you and your family are the cause of her death," she heard someone's angry voice. When she looked back, she saw Iris' mother standing behind her.
Elsa kept her head down and apologized to her, but she refused to listen to Elsa.
"Don't worry, you'll die soon like my daughter. I'm cursing you," then she left her alone.
Elsa immediately burst into tears.
"Yes, I deserve to die," she murmured between her tears.

Every vampire in the palace was busy fulfilling their schedule. The whole palace was beautifully decorated, but they could not understand why the king had turned the curtains yellow. It's so bright that could dazzle your eyes.
''Is his majesty changed his taste? He always liked the black color," everyone was discussing within themselves.
Gabriel returned to the palace the night before after spending a few moments with Elsa.
He had never been so happy before, but he didn't let anyone understand, not even Gramson.
"Majesty, everything is going well. Do you need any more changes?"
"No Gramson everything is right. How are my relatives? Are they all here?" Gabriel asked.
"Yes, my king, they are all here, but your uncle brought the woman back again."
"Who?" Gabriel wanted to know who was the new card his uncle has brought.
"My king! That royal princess of the North Pole, Jennifer," Gramson answered with an expressionless face.
"Haha that woman again, such a troubled lady."
"Is my uncle planning something for me again, or shall I say his head is getting old," Gabriel mumbled with a mischievous face.
"Now take good care of whoever is invited to this feast," Gabriel ordered Gramson as today was his special day.
"All right, Your Majesty." Then he bowed his head slightly towards the king and left his chamber.
"Today my Queen Elsa will come to my palace for the first time."
"Elsa, Elsa," a pleasant sigh came out of his mouth.
"Your Majesty," suddenly, one of his guards interrupted his beautiful thoughts.
Gabriel only raised his eyebrows at him. "My king, your uncle, is here. He said he wanted to talk to you about something important."
"Okay, let him in," Gabriel ordered.
After that, a handsome, clean-shaven man entered the chamber of 'His Majesty.'
"Gabriel, welcome back. How are you? We are looking for you everywhere. Where have you been for so long?" This is Gabriel's uncle who tried hard to get the throne with the countless flopped plan.
"You're looking for me, really. I thought you were thinking of putting your son in my place, or shall I say you did not succeed in your plan," Gabriel smiled at him.
"How can you talk to me like that? I'm your uncle. I've always loved you more than my son."
"Forgive me, uncle, for my bad words."
"But did I say something wrong?" Gabriel smiled icily.
Klaus noticed that Gabriel had suddenly changed his entire expression as if he were no longer playful. Now Klaus gulped down his saliva and said, "Yes my king, you are not wrong, you never are. I'm here to tell you something."
"Make it clear and quick, my dear uncle," Gabriel narrowed his eyes and stroked the little golden ball he held in his hand.
"My king, you already know that Jennifer is here. Her father wants to give you the entire northern kingdom if you marry her."
"If you get that kingdom, your power will increase, my king!" Klaus knew that convincing Gabriel means hitting his head with a stone, but he also had his hands tied, so he didn't want to plead like this but was forced to do.
"Hahaha! Oh! My uncle, you care a lot about me, but why am I going to involve myself in a wedding, where I'm capable enough to burn her entire kingdom," Gabriel retorted with a smirk, having already understood his uncle's plan as he could clearly see his uncle's dirty game in his eyes. Although he liked to play dirty games, at the moment he was not in that mood.
