It's true what Dylan said. The captain squad he dispatched to rescue Ryley also said the same thing. 

And just when he was about to reply to Dylan, his phone vibrated.

"Any updates?" He immediately asked after seeing the caller's ID.

"Sir, we found that 1 million dollar was deposited into Rachel Schwartz's bank account the same day of the kidnapping incident. According to the record, she transferred some amounts to several people working for a number of magazines and newspapers."

Lucas almost let out an incredulous gasp when he heard it. His sterling grey eyes darkened as his grip tightened on his phone. "Have you tracked the sender?"

The other person hesitated for a moment, and as he read the moving screen of his laptop, he reported, "Yes. The money was sent by..."

The door to the VVIP ward opened, making Lucas turn his head in an instant.
