Rachel couldn't mutter a word still, her mouth gaped wide and her eyes bulged in disbelief.

"I won't let them kill you." Ryley said with a determined gaze.

Through his lowered tone he knocked some sense into Rachel's head, but for those who knew his character well... His words just now would sound really ambiguous.

The blond would never let anyone else decide what he should do with his enemies. 

So when he said he wouldn't let those people kill Rachel... nobody actually knew if he meant to forgive her and take her under his protection.... or if he would kill her with his own hands.

Ryley pulled his lips into a bitter smile, his voice trembled as he persuaded, "Think about it. They no longer want you alive simply because you can reveal their identities. Be sure that if I let you go from here, they will come back to take your life again."
