The starless sky outside the glass wall welcomed the no less dark circles under his eyes, and as soon as he walked further into the dim room, he found that the small doctor had gone from there, leaving only a figure curling up underneath the white sheet.

Adrian told him to not hide anything, he had to be true to his heart and accepted the fact that he was fully responsible for what had happened.

Clyde dragged his legs to the bed after heaving a deep sigh, as if forcing the criminal inside him to face justice. He had sworn he wouldn't oppose whatever Ryley would say or do to him after this.

He had hurt him bad, and so he deserved the same pain.
