章節 12: You're no princess!
As Jinbe claimed their journey didn't take long and within an hour they finally arrived at the outskirts of Fishman island, seeing the huge bubble Kenshin sighed in amazement.
Jinbe who was their guide entered the ship and said, "You should release your sea king because it cannot enter the island. we will be entering the entrance and a quick mandatory inspection will be done."
"No problem, we are visitors so it is only right for you to inspect us for your island's safety." Kenshin nodded in understanding as he told Jack to release the sea king.
Jinbe looked at Kenshin and a smile appeared on his face as he laughed, "Hahaha, thank you for respecting our rules. let us now enter then I will be bringing you to the fishman district where big brother Tai will be meeting us."
The ship then sailed towards the huge entrance where a few fishman soldiers inspected their ship, they didn't laze around even though they knew they came with Jinbe. some of the fishman even gaze at Kenshin and his crew with hostility but Kenshin only gazes at them with a friendly smile making them snort in response.
After getting their ship inspected they were brought to a port area where a bunch of ships was already docked.
Jumping off the ship Kenshin landed on the ground and surprisingly gave Jinbe a hug which surprised the fishman who didn't expect to get a hug from a human without hesitation.
"Hahaha, Thank you for guiding us here Jinbe!" Kenshin said, he then put his arms around Jinbe's shoulder as he continued.
"Let's go and meet up with Fisher Tiger."
Jinbe who just recovered but the initial surprise shook his head with a smile on his face and replied, "Un, Let's go then."
But before they left Kenshin asked Jinbe if he could get a tourist guide for his crewmembers and specifically said that if one of his members behave arrogantly and cause trouble that they can execute them on spot.
He then looked at Jack and said, "Your vacation starts today so go enjoy yourself, but be sure to behave, or else I will have to teach you some manners."
Jack straightened his posture and patted his chest as he replied, "Don't worry, boss. I will surely not act arrogantly and will just enjoy my vacation here."
"That's good, I will be leaving now no need to look for me because I will be busy during our stay here."
With that said Kenshin left along with Jinbe who would occasionally act as a tourist guide.
Fishman District, Fishman Island
Inside a huge all, Fisher Tiger who was seated at the center was surrounded by hundreds of fishmen who didn't know what is going on.
"Big Brother, why did you gather us here?" Arlong asked, he was also clueless as to why they were all called here.
Fisher Tiger who had his hands supporting his face replied, "Just be patient our visitor has already arrived."
*Creak!*
After Fisher Tiger finished speaking the door opened and two people entered, one was their big brother Jinbe while the other one beside him was a human with an air bubble on his head.
Seeing a human entering their territory Arlong who was beside Fisher Tiger grabbed his weapon and was about to attack the human but Jinbe stood in front of Kenshin blocking Arlong.
"What do you think you're doing, big brother?!" Arlong asked in anger when he saw Jinbe protecting a human.
Jinbe smacked Arlong's head making him crouch down, "Idiot! this human is big brother Tai's guest."
Arlong looked back at Fisher Tiger who nodded his head and could only grit his teeth as he stormed out of the hall.
Seeing Arlong leave Fisher Tiger stood up and said, "I apologize for my little brother's action."
Kenshin shook his head and approached Fisher Tiger, he then extended his hand and replied, "You don't need to apologize, we didn't have the time to introduce ourselves during our last meeting. My name is Kenshin a wandering swordsman."
Seeing a human initiate a handshake Fisher Tiger looked a bit dazed but soon recovered as he shook Kenshin's hand firmly and replied with a small smile on his face, "My name is Fisher Tiger the captain of the sun pirates."
The surrounding fishmen who saw their captain being friendly with a human was even more confused.
"What is the meaning of this captain?" A fishman asked.
Hearing his member's question Fisher Tiger first gave Kenshin a seat and started explaining, "As you all know, I was ambushed at Foolshout Island by the marines. facing against a dozen of marines that are being commanded by a rear admiral, Me and Jinbe didn't stand a chance and could only slaughter our way out hoping that we can successfully escape."
"But we still underestimated our opponent because the rear admiral suddenly made a move blocking all our hope in escape, when we were about to fight the rear admiral Kenshin who is seated beside me appeared and fought the rear admiral while Me and Jinbe made our escape."
Fisher Tiger then looked at Kenshin thankfully as he bowed his head, he then turned his attention back to his crewmembers and said, "If it wasn't for Kenshin, Me and Jinbe wouldn't be here now so we are deeply thankful to Kenshin for saving us back then."
After Fisher Tiger explained the story on how they got acquainted with Kenshin, some fishmen expressed their thanks while the others still looked at Kenshin with doubt in their clearly not trusting Kenshin.
Seeing the different reactions, Kenshin could only shake his head and said. "What your captain told you isn't actually correct."
Hearing Kenshin call their captain a liar the fishmen all frowned and showed hostility towards the lone swordsman, even Fisher Tiger looked at Kenshin in confusion.
"The only reason why I helped them is that they told me that they will answer all of my questions after I help them escape, so I didn't help them because I'm a night in shining armor who helps those in need, they weren't even princesses so why the heck should I help them for no good reason?"
Kenshin explained with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
Fisher Tiger and Jinbe looked at Kenshin with their mouths wide open, they didn't even know what to say and could only stare at Kenshin dumbfoundedly while the other fishmen had an enlightened look on their faces as they kept on nodding in agreement.
