章節 8: Arrival at Sabaody
Kenshin's training continued until they reached Sabaody Archipelago, Jack who didn't want to be part of the training couldn't hold himself back, and dragged another crew member to help him train his observation haki which he only learned from Kenshin.
"Are you ready boss Jack?" The crew member asked.
Jack who had a piece of cloth in his eyes nodded his head signaling that he was ready.
"Here I come, boss!"
*Swoosh!* BAM!*
"Argh!"
Jack who was trying to feel the incoming attack was immediately smacked in the head by a wooden bat.
Kenshin who was near the training area laughed seeing the huge bump on Jack's head and said, "Just continue on your training, I also experienced the things you've experienced right now. you just need to persevere and trust the process."
"Boss Kenshin! I can already see Sabaody Archipelago!" The lookout shouted as he pointed at the north.
Kenshin turned his attention towards the direction his lookout was pointing at and sure enough, he saw a silhouette of an island.
"Perfect, anyone here knows anything about Sabaody Archipelago?" Kenshin asked, he clearly didn't have any idea what lies ahead.
The helmsman who was manning the ship raised his hand and said, "I know a little about Sabaody, boss."
Kenshin nodded his head and gestured for the helmsman to continue.
Seeing the boss waiting for his explanation he quickly straightened up and said, "The Sabaody Archipelago is, in actuality, a massive mangrove forest in the middle of the ocean made up of 79 separate trees known as Yarukiman Mangrove. The Yarukiman Mangrove trees are the largest mangroves in the world and are strong enough to grow from the bottom of the ocean to the top. Each tree is called a grove and serves as an island on which people live on. People can get from one grove to another via the various bridges built connecting around the many tree roots."
He took a deep breath and continued, "The seventy-nine trees are divided into several different areas, with each one dependent on the number of the area. Groove 1 to 29 is a lawless area where pirates and bounty hunters run amok. Groove 30 to 39 is where the Sabaody Park, an amusement park will be found. Groove 40 to 49 is a tourist area, filled with shops and souvenir stands."
Kenshin kept nodding his head trying to remember all the information his helmsman was telling.
"Groove 50 to 59 is where the shipyard is situated, almost all the pirate ships that wants to get their ship coated will go there. and the most important groove is the Groove 60 to 69 where the marine headquarters is located, many pirate ships who wanted to get their ship coated will have to evade the headquarters as much as possible, or else they won't be able to leave Sabaody Archipelago safely."
Kenshin looked at the helmsman who had his held high and asked, "What about Groove 70 to 79?"
The helmsman faltered hearing Kenshin's question and answered, "The Groove 70 to 79 is a hotel town where the rich people usually stay."
After getting the general information of Sabaody Archipelago, Kenshin started planning. "Hmmm, the best place to dock our ship is the shipyard but I need to wear a mask in case that rear admiral is trying to hunt me."
After careful deliberation, Kenshin finally decided their destination. he stood up in front of the deck and said, "We will be docking at the shipyard and get our ship coated as soon as possible and leave right away, we don't need to wander the Archipelago in case something unexpected happens."
"Understood, Captain!" All crewmembers shouted in unison.
