章節 48: Negotiate

Zia opened her eyes feeling groggy. She pulled back the bedding and glanced outside of the window. The sun was setting. Her body felt sore and drained. She must have been exhausted. She enjoyed sleeping now since she would see Orion every time she dreamt.

The dreams were like pages from a diary, if she ever kept one. She was able to spend the time she wished she had with him before she lost him. He gave up everything to help her, even his life.

She couldn't help but wonder why she still felt so connected to him. She couldn't let him go. Her dreams were so vivid and real. She could touch him and smell him. When she hugged him, she felt his strong arms around her, allowing her to feel safe and secure for a moment.

Where would they be now if Damien hadn't taken him and tried to hurt her? Would they have escaped and started a new life somewhere? She wondered. If she could only have more time with him, she could show him how she really felt.
