After Sue and Judy left the house, they went to the store in the garden to get Sue’s stuff. The maid came to assist, and Sue felt that the maid had something to say but hesitant.

“What is it, Sophie? Tell me?” Sue asked.

Sophie scanned the garden, checking if someone was watching. Then, Sophie came closer to Sue and said in a low voice, more like whispering, “Mrs. Knights lied to you. Rayan does not sleepover. He spends most of the time here, but he leaves.”

Sue immediately answered. “I really don’t want to hear anything about this person. Please, Sophie.” Sue noticed that Sophie was holding George’s broken watch, which Sue kept on her dressing table. “Oh Sophie, you kept it”

Sophie gave it to Sue and said, “There is more.” Sophie again looked around to make sure no one was there. “I heard Mrs. Knights over the phone.”

“Sophie,” Jasmine called Sophie, and Sophie could not finish her talk.
