"Momma!" Reece called as Dani walked into Austin's house the next day. "I missed you."

Dani hugged her daughter and smiled over her baby's shoulder at her brother. "Did Uncle Austin not play with you?"

Reece looked at her and said, "He did. Love you." And then she was gone.

"That was short lived," she said as she walked into Austin's kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.

"Where's Nate?"

"Giving us space."

"My brother senses are tingling."

"Shove your brother senses. He wanted to give me a chance to talk to you. Not everything is a big deal."
