Jackson and I trotted down the hallway. He started the motorcycle and got on. I put on my helmet and handed him my extra one. I wrapped my arms around his waist. He revved the engine and we drove to the coffee shop.
We went to the cafe got our coffee and sat down. I sipped my coffee slowly. I looked at the time. We still had about an hour left. So I finished my coffee. I threw it in the trash and sat back down and waited for Jackson to finish his coffee.
"Hey, your eyes... They're green again." He said
"I guess the color wore out."
Honestly I had not clue what was happening. First I was told the party was real. Now I'm starting to feel like the wolf part was true as well. Maybe it wasn't a dream at all.
He threw his away and we walked out to my motorcycle. He got his helmet and I got mine. We drove back to campus. We parked and got off. I took my keys and walked into our dorm room. They weren't even up yet.
I got my books and so did Jackson. We both walked out and walked to class. I walked into the room and sat down. I got a text from Mandy, Neil, and Lola.
Hey why didn't you wake us up?
Why didn't you and Jackson wake us up?
Did you get coffee without me? Hurt!
I turned my phone off and put it in my backpack and waited for class to start.
Class soon ended. I went through all of my classes. I ended up dropping art, music, and swimming. I took that time to read and study. I always sat by the soccer field bleachers.
Hey you coming to soccer today?
Was the text I got from Casey.
Yeah I'll be there.
I texted pulling out my bag with my soccer gear. I waited for them while I waited I put my ear buds in and studied. The first song that came on was Northern Blues by Dallas Green or by his stage name City and Colour.

Which has to be my favorite song off his newest album. Soon enough they approached the field. I put the bag on my shoulder and ran off the bleachers.
"Glad you could make it!" Said coach
"Me too." I say
"Hey your here!" Casey said
"I told you I'd be." I said as I hugged her
She looked different than normal. She looked relaxed and confident. I think that's what soccer does for her.
We all went to the girls dressing room and got dressed. I ran out and did the stretches with the team.
"Ok girls as you may have noticed there's another girl here, please welcome Adena!" Coach said
They all ran over to me and high fived me. Then we got to practice.
"Adena I hate to do this to you but I'm putting you in goal." She said
"Cool." I said
I wasn't the best at goal but I still like the position.
I stood in goal. Casey was up first. She kicked the ball and I caught it. I drop kicked the ball to my midfielder which was Delilah. I didn't expect her to play soccer. She headed the ball and kicked it in the goal.
My team ended up winning 15 to 6. It was a good game. Delilah ran up to me.
"I totally didn't think you'd play!" She says
"I didn't either but I have some extra time on my hands so I gotta fill in the time somehow." I say
We started walking back to the dorms. I stubbed my toe on an uprooted tree. Delilah looked at me.
"Your eyes are yellow... Why are they yellow?" She freaked
"Why are yours pink?!?" I asked
She took out her phone and looked at her reflection.
"They are pink." She said
I handed her some sunglasses and put on one for my self. Then someone ran up from behind and grabbed our shoulders. Delilah and I jolted. We turned to see Casey.
"You dumbasses still haven't figured out yet." Casey shook her head
"Figured out what?" I asked
"Oh my." She says
"What?" Delilah asks
We get into Delilah and Casey's dorm room. Casey locks the door and shuts the windows.
"Why do I feel like I'm about to become a murder victim?" Delilah asked
"Your not." Casey said
"Sit down." She directed
Delilah and I sat down.
"As you both are figuring out, since the party you've been noticing some... Strange things, right?" Casey asked
Delilah and I nodded.
"Wow I can't believe you don't know!" Casey said
"Know what?" I growled
"Just look at you!" Casey yelled
I looked in the mirror. I had fangs. My eyes where glowing yellow. My face resembled a wolf. I looked at my hands. I had long sharp claws. I backed away from the mirror and sat next to Delilah who had similar features. Only thing was, she had pink glowing eyes.
"You still don't get it do you?" She asked
We nodded.
"You werewolves, and Delilah your a special kind of wolf your both a banshee and wolf which makes you a siren." Casey explained
I sat on the bed. I watched as I started to calm down the wolf-like features went away.
"Now the two of you will turn the next full moon." Casey explained
"Are you a wolf?" Delilah asked
She laughed, "No, I'm a witch... I've gone to a school to practice these powers and I was the top of my class... Anyway Delilah you have a voice, that's your weapon... Your scream if used properly can crack a persons skull and push them up to fifty feet away."
Delilah opened her mouth.
"Not here!" Casey said
"Is there a school like yours for my powers?" Delilah asked
"No, that's because your combination of powers are so rare. There's not one for you Adena, the supernatural community didn't feel like there was a need to train werewolves you'll learn to use your instinct." Casey said
"Wait so everything on supernatural is real?" I ask
"Most of it, some of those are made up and sugar coated." Casey says
"Supernatural sugar coated... That's funny." I laughed, "Have you seen that show?"
"Yeah, they sugar coat a lot of stuff in there... Most of it is made up or so much more terrifying that they make it seem." Casey says
"Okay, what about vampires are they real?" I ask
"No. They are based off of werewolves... There are Wendigos which a like a vampire but except they don't sparkle in the sun or any Hollywood shit like that." Casey says
"What about silver? Can that really hurt me?" I ask
"That and wolves bane." She says
"What about me?" Delilah asked
"You need to watch out for that stuff as well." Casey says
"Okay, why aren't Lola, Neil, and Jackson in here?" I ask
"Jace was also there that night as well!" Delilah says
"Oh yeah, so was his sister Evelyn." I say
"How many people where in that woods that night?" Casey asked
"How am I supposed to know, I almost died." I say
"But you didn't, think Adena." Casey demanded
