It had been three days since Edward had been away and I was bored out of my mind. John came to check on me every morning and told me to call him whenever I needed anything. There were guards positioned outside of the house for my protection. Especially since Edward was gone. 

I had to admit when he was here I felt safer when it was just the two of us compared to when I was alone with six guards patrolling outside. Maybe it was due to the fact Edward was trained like a special operation agent and could kill a person with his bare hands. 

I had no idea who these six guards were and if they were even honest about who they truly were. I could not tell Edward that or he would demand that John stay with me twenty four seven to ensure I was safe. Truthfully I preferred to be alone if he was not here.
