章節 9: 9: Another evolution
Leo immediately tossed out a pokeball, and Froakie jumped out excitedly, almost as if it had been waiting all day for a battle.
"Froakie use quick attack" Leo said as Froakie appeared.
Froakie turned into a flash of light as it bolted towards the floating butterfree.
"Butterfree use poison powder, and then counter with tackle" the bug trainer shouted.
A purple gas was released from Butterfree as it turned into a flash of light and rushed at Froakie.
The purple has carried a faint corroding aura as it appeared, even the grass below Butterfree seemed to wither slightly.
"Froakie dodge the poison power, keep distance and use water gun" Leo said.
Causing Froakie to stop it's quick attack and leap away onto a tree...
Swoosh!!
The sound of waves was heard as froakies mouth puffed up before releasing a water gun towards the rushing Butterfree.
"Butterfree, watch out" the bug trainer said, but it was too late, it's Butterfree had already been hit.
"Damn, that's one fast frog" he said, as he couldn't recognize this kalos region pokemon.
"Froakie don't let it get up, quick attack again" Leo shouted.
Froakie immediately dashed off a tree, it became covered in a light as it rushed towards the Butterfree.
Boom!!
Butterfree was once again hit and sent flying, without being able to even counter.
"Butterfree get up, can you continue fighting?" The bug trainer was anxious, but his Butterfree managed to pull through.
"Ok then, keep an eye on that frog, use string shot, and if you bind it, immediately use tackle"
...
A white string was released from Butterfree, shooting towards Froakie, although it was fast, Froakie was way faster than it.
"Froakie keep your distance from that string, and once it's done, use quick attack once again" Leo said.
Froakies huge body immediately flashed away like a phantom as it leaped high into the air..
A faint silhouette of another Froakie appeared by it, confusing Butterfree as it's string shot into the silhouette.
"NOW, quick attack Froakie" Leo said, he didn't completely know what Froakie had did there.
Swoosh!!!
Froakie was like a flash of thunder as it shot through the sky, its body slamming heavily into Butterfree...
Boom!
Butterfree was immediately sent flying off before it fainted.
"F*ck me, why are your Pokémon so strong" the bug trainer cursed as he picked up his net, he felt embarrassed after losing to a young man.
"Froakie is evolving too?" Leo said as he gazed at Froakie, it was glowing and growing bigger at an astonishing rate.
Leo knew and average frogadier wouldn't be that big, but his was atleast twice the same size.
At 1.2 m, the average was atleast only around .6 m tall.
"Frogadier, you evolved" Leo said with a smile, not caring one bit about the gloomy bug trainer.
Frogadier immediately jumped towards Leo, and hugged him.
It too was also excited about its improvement.
"That's it then, we can immediately head to pewter city and have the gym battle.
Leo said excitedly.
Leo made frogadier stay outside the pokeball since it was his starter, and the Pokémon he cared about the most..
"We are nearly out of viridian forest anyways, these small Pokémon's are no threat to us" Leo said
He then texted both his parents and made them immediately know that he was on his way to pewter city for his first gym battle.
He also snapped some pics of frogadier and pidgeotto and kept them into files, and also sent them to his parents.
....
Just like that, Leo and his two new evolved Pokémon made their way to pewter city, where they would challenge the gym leader Brock, and more.
