"Good Morning Sister Lucy"
Paia was the first to greet the new member of Nova. She has not seen Lucy yesterday, but Paia was excited to meet her after what Bryan shared about her.
Lucy seems to have a soft spot for little kids because she was rarely showed enthusiasm in the day they were together. The only time she revealed it on her face was when Brian introduced her to the poor man's smartphone.
"System, are there any working clothes included in the welcoming package?"
<System: No. This Amazing System has already been generous enough to provide a baby phone for free>
"But it would be difficult to conduct a business without proper clothes."
What he was worried about is the appearance of Lucy when she made her entrance. It was the same exact clothes from yesterday. Same old plain black shirt under an unwashed red hood.
He should have given her money yesterday to buy some presentable clothes, but it totally went over Brian's head.
<System: But alas, this Amazing System can sell anything if User has the money> Brian does not know why but he imagined a person with dollar signs on their pupils when the System mentioned selling.
"Oh! Why didn't you say sooner?"
<System: User has not yet unlocked the item shop feature. If you want to be amazed and shocked, I suggest you complete the quest quicker>
"Tsk~ Why did you suggest it then."
<System: Since this Amazing Generous System has already been generous enough, I can sell a female attire fitting for a clerk in a blacksmith even without the item shop. The user just have to address me with Amazing on this point forward>
"How shameless. You're the definition of narcissism."

'It's not a compliment.' Despite his rejection, Brian really thought about it. But when he imagined following the System's whims just for a set of clothing, he rather wait to unlock it.
Failure to convince the System left Brian with no other choice but to bring Lucy to a clothing store. It was definitely the most reasonable choice, but Brian thought he can get more free things from the System.
So Brian, Paia, and the hesitant Lucy left the blacksmith to do a minute shopping before they open. It took a bit of persuasion before Lucy finally gave in on the threat of Brian that she will not let her work unless she wears proper attire.
Their favorite place to purchase some clothes, Rainbow Wardrobe, was just opening their doors for customers. Brian's group will be their first sale of the day.
Paia who will not be trying new clothes today was more excited compared to the one who will be gifted with free clothes.
Lucy did not dare to choose her own clothes so Brian has no choice but see what fits her and her workplace.
After receiving the suggestion of the one-eyed girl working in the place, they finally decided to go with a butler-type suit that was meant for males.
Not only does it look good with her demeanor, but Lucy preferred less feminine clothes. Luckily, the Rainbow Wardrobe has three sets of it so Brian does not need to worry about her laundry days. A quick change in uniform and Lucy came back to the blacksmith with her brand new clothes.
It was about time for the shop to open however, Brian was still waiting for someone.
"Woah! All of these are my son's work?" A proud father came entering the peaceful Nova.
"Nice to see you, Raju. It's been a while since I last saw you. You're always coming home late these days."
"Hahaha. There's a big order from the hunting firm so I need to overtime every day until next week."
Brian could even see dark circles around the grey wolf's eyes. It was unusual for Raju to look this tired.
"Richi must be very proud to show me these since he told me to come here."
"I was the one who actually called you here." Brian gestured something to Lucy before she went back to the workshop.
"Hm?"
"I want to repay your help somehow."
"You don't need to! I did not do anything besides just few things here and there."
"That's why I wanted to give back. Look first."
Brian moved aside so Raju can see the treasure displayed in the middle of the room. Raju was in awe when he saw the meter-long sword, but he still does not understand why Brian did so.
A girl that looks like a pretty boy with her clothes was carrying the same sword as the one displayed inside the transparent glass.
"This sword's name is Makaze. I know you're a sword type of guy so here it is."
Brian gave the best product in the house with sheath and everything. All of it should be free for Brian but the System charged him 2 gold or 10% of the specialty product.
The reason because besides being the supplier of those rare materials, the System also needs to earn according to it
'I never thought the System needs money. I can never seem to understand it. All the things the System provided him were rewards from the quests, free of charge. Now it is asking for its share… Maybe it is just fattening its cow before milking it. And the cow here is me.'
There was one more person worrying about money. Raju already saw the price written below the displayed Makaze so his face cannot be pictured when Brian gifted him one
Brian already knows he would be reacting like this so he told him his plan. "You're working on a big gig for at least a week right?"
"Yeah, the Guild seems to have received an urgent task because of an invasion. They seem to be asking almost everyone in our Hunting Guild."
"Well, it goes like this...I need someone to spread our name since this place is so desolate. If an amazing weapon owned by a renowned warrior suddenly show up in the middle of the hunt, then"
Richi realized what Brian was trying to say "You'll want me to refer them here. Hahaha! What a great idea! You're in luck because along with my group, a lot of parties will also be hunting in the same area."
"So can I rely on you to be a show-off?"
"It will depend on if the weapon can keep up with me.
Brian just smiled and let Raju feel the sword for himself. Standing in front of the mirror as tall as his height, the two-meter wolf was swinging the sword in a satisfied manner.
Paia who was watching on the sideline exclaimed, "Wow! Uncle Wolf is cool."
"I can be much cooler little Paia." Raju did more flaunted more moves after a praise. "This is a treasure! And you're only selling it for 22 gold?"
"You're the first one to think it should be more expensive. Nonetheless, I hope you won't say the sword's price when bragging. There is still other equipment here that are affordable yet beyond of its value."
"Hahaha! Don't worry about it. Next week, be prepared to accept many orders."
"I'm counting on you."
It was not the best form of Makaze yet, but Raju does not know that. He will probably make it their family heirloom if he knew that although it is his son who forged it in the first place.
Satisfied with his friend's promise, Brian bid his neighbor good luck. This was also the indication to change the sign on the front door from 'close' to 'open'.
Brian has decided to stay and help in the blacksmith for the first week. Since there were no quests that have been triggered yet, he was going to see how Lucy would handle on her own.
He felt his clerk is a timid person so he was worried to leave her on the very first day. It will be awful if the first impression of the first batch of customers is poor.
This concern was answered only when half the day passed by.
