章節 37: Entry 28 - Devillish Sneak (Towa)
Today I was so bored! After the concert, we were back to our regular routine of practising then lazing about. I wish there was something to do!
Well it's not all boring, I mean I got to hang with Coco-chan again and I managed to get to know Aloe-chan now. She's way more respectful than she let on, more than Shishiro Botan at least.
And then there's Kyrell.
I'll be honest for someone who often spends his time working in an inn, Kyrell sure is knowledgeable of the world around him and beyond and that's just so cool!
He once even managed to know what sort of demon me and Choco-sensei were just from our first meeting. He somehow managed to even figure out that Bibi is also a living creature and not a hat.
Choco-sensei and I were so impressed by that, that we then took him to the demon realm to test his abilities.
Our first demon was similar to Laplus from HoloX, a demon with long horns and was short. He got it right in saying it was an imp and apparently it was an obvious one since imps are known for their small size. That's fair I guess.
But we weren't done! We showed many different demons and he managed to tell us perfectly what type of demons they were. Honestly, his knowledge is abnormal, he could read demonic writing, he knew how to speak in tongues and was almost able to befriend any demon he came across.
It was so weird, to see a human be so indifferent to demons. Sure, the other Hololive members weren't scared of us, but that was already the norm so it wasn't that surprising, except for that one time with the kid. But other than that usually we try our best to hide that we're demons.
Kyrell though was just different. He strolled through the demon realm like it was nothing, he ate the food there like nothing and even managed to confront any demons that were hitting on me or Choco-sensei, like it was nothing!
When we asked him how he was so calm, all he did was give us a smile and told us he's been through the demon realm several times, that he got used to it.
Several times?!
What could he possibly need in the demon realm? Humans aren't exactly known for entering this part of the world, if anything they usually stay away from it.
Well anyways, during our trip, Kyrell asked us if we could stop by a bookstore or library since he wanted to look into something. I didn't see why not, so we took him to the one place where all demon knowledge can be found.
The great library named the Lemegeton!
It's the one place in the demon realm that is full of info to binge and Kyrell thought so as well since he stayed there for the rest of our trip. I have no idea what he was so interested in, but whatever it was, it must've been quite the something if it managed to keep his nose on the page the entire time.
When we got home, Kyrell immediately went back to his room to do something, what it is, I have no idea. Apparently, he's been holing himself up in his room for days, reading other worlds' books and being very secretive with the others.
I wanted to know what he was looking for, so I decided to be a little devil and try to sneak into his office when he wasn't in there to see what he was keeping so hidden from the rest of us.
Unfortunately, even when I could, I didn't find a single thing, the guy keeps his tracks well hidden. But while being there I found his diary, and since I was feeling devilish I decided to take a quick peek, not a long one just a short one.
What did I get out of it? Well, it was a bit sad really.
Kyrell talked mostly about us and how watching us was like watching a reflection of himself. Smiling, laughing and supporting one another even under so much pain.
At first, I had no idea what he was on about, but after reading a bit more, I discovered that Yagoo apparently begged him to let us stay here so that we could have a break from a ton of things, but Kyrell didn't believe that would fix it. For him a hiatus will not make our problems go away, it'll always happen. Kyrell knows this because he's been doing it for years, bearing the pain and just running away.
His most recent entries though, were a bit more lighthearted, he just mentions how it was nice to see us on stage and that seeing his siblings gave him joy. But along with these, there was always a question at the end.
"I wonder if I had been better, would I shine like them?"
"Can I even be worth something now?"
"Will you keep running away?"
It's weird, the calmest and most collected person here, is also the one with the messiest thoughts. How sad.

Monochrome_Library I think Kyrell is slowly losing his sanity, by the way if anyone is confused, trust me so am I. I think I may have been half-asleep or something writing this particular entry, essentially it is supposed to be Towa's actual first canonical entry, instead, I turned it into Towa touring Kyrell around then sneaking into his office.
Well weak entry aside, I still hope you all enjoyed it to an extent and I'll see you all next week.
