"You know, this is kind of cool.''
Oliver was standing upside down in the warehouse, his toes had become nails, piercing into the steel beam and curling so he could hold himself upside down, there had to be a better way to do it, but he found out this is one of them. He couldn't move too fast, lest he falls down but hey. Eat your heart out spiderman.
Oliver released his talons from the beam and he flipped around, landing onto the ground 30 meters below with ease. His new body has reached a level that he was pretty sure he could leap from rooftop to rooftop if he really wanted to.
But he wasn't looking to become that sort of person and leave his stickiness across the city.
Once he landed he cracked his toes loudly as they morphed back slowly, once it finished he formed socks and shoes over his feet once more.
Turning to look at the warehouse he sighed a bit, it was left empty for training more destructive quirks, but did he really have to go far enough to punch holes in the walls, and rip out pieces of steel beams in his excitement as he tried out his newfound abilities?
He had actually learned to turn his nails into claws basically, kind of like a certain lad from Hunter X Hunter, admittedly where he go the idea.
He would need to have the warehouse tore down and rebuilt with proper materials for training destructive quirks. But, he wanted to head to the nearby forest, he still had something he wanted to do, a hobby so to speak.
So getting in his car he drove to the outer edge of town, near the forest. Leaving his car parked he left it there and began to wander aimlessly in the woods. Occasionally he would pat a tree, rub his hand against it before shake his head and move on.
There were a few animals that he saw and some predators but they stayed away from him. Was it the 'Intent' or instinct of them to stay away from him? Maybe it was because it was daytime and they felt more vulnerable? Either way, he had no reason to care as he continued moving along in the forest.
He actually seen a cabin in the middle of the moods, a nice little homey area, and using his increased senses that have been cranked up even further, he smelt sweat, and what smelt like bunnies?
Shrugging his shoulders he continued to move, only to hear a crack, and feel something was wrong. Raising his arm he tanked a heavy hit from a dark flash. Sliding into the ground a bit he whistled, that hit had a lot of power behind it. Turning he seen a dark-skinned woman, seeming to be rather young, in her early twenties, or just having turned so.
Her legs were thick with power and her body was toned and chiseled. White hair and ears protruding from her head, she was a bunny.
She was standing in an attack stance, though seeming surprised that the man took the hit with ease and wasn't showing pain, she felt like she actually kicked metal.
Shaking his arm a bit Oliver watched her before he scowled, chiding her as he would a child. ''That's no way to say hello to someone, again but this time without the kicks.''
The woman in her shock responded almost naturally. ''Hel- NO! What are you doing on my land?''
Oliver clicked his tongue, his hand returning to his side in his neutral position. ''Passing through, looking for a good tree. Didn't know I was trespassing.''
"So, a handsome man in a snazzy suit, that can take a hit from a newly made pro-hero. Just wondering through the woods?''
''You consider me handsome?'' Oliver raised his hand, running his fingers through his dark locks, unkept and unbrushed, but so damn naturally good.
''Thank you, and yes. Despite how hitman I might look, this is truly just an accident.''
The woman grit her teeth a moment before she calmed down, something about her quirk helped her instinctively tell when someone was lying, it was actually why she had stayed single all these years because they were always lying. ''Fine, I'll accept it, I'm sorry for attacking you.''
''It's quite fine, no harm done. Though I would try to ask questions before you attack, anyone else, and that kind of hit could have killed them... Names Oliver Soko, yours?''
Hearing that she bit her lip, looking away a bit. Her inability to hold back was a sore spot for her, due to her excitement for wanting to fight, and her strength. She actually got held back from becoming pro for quite a few years, even now she barely passed. "Usagiyama Rumi, but please just call me Rumi or Rabbit.''
Oliver nodded. ''Call me Oliver or Olly. By the look of your face, you're struggling to hold back in the middle of a fight?''
She wasn't sure why she felt like she could talk to this absolute stranger, but she could. It kind of reminded her of talking to her grandfather, he always made things seem so easy to her, making it easy for her to ramble.
''Yes, it is actually what kept me from going pro for a few years.''
''Well, in return for having accidentally trespassed on your property. I'll be your sparring partner, I'll help you master your abilities, and also learn how to hold back." He tossed something at her and she got it easily, enhanced senses treating her well. It was a black card with silver lettering, his name, and the king's logo, on the back, is had his personal phone number. ''Call me sometime, and if you're ever in town, find me in King's Bar."
He waved as he left her, with only more questions. One of them being, why was he wearing a three-piece suit while traveling in the woods? Wasn't it hot?
(Pa-treon.)
Still around, just focusing on working out and using the heat of the sun to sweat more. Trying to get into better health and all.
