*Gasp*

Ah Yin sucked in a breath of cold air.

"God beasts? What are they?" She inquired with a glazed gaze once she understood whatever happened within the pond. She was truly surprised regarding the existence of a rather 'pure' 100000-year-old spirit beast within and while a part of her wanted to 'devour' it, a greater part of her resisted this form of greed deep down. She, too, found value in life, but occasionally, and this was one of those moments because the spirit beast within the pond was harmless and sentient and childlike.

She couldn't kill a child inside a village, and the same was true when it came to spirit beasts. In 'their' world, age truly is just a number but everything boiled down to how they acted and what they represented.

Ja Sun, on the other hand, glanced at her. Once again clothed, his body was significantly larger than before with a streamlined and somewhat bulging muscular structure. Ah Yin currently held his left arm.

Even Ja Sun was amazed by his body.

His left arm wasn't metallic but some form of synthetic material that felt real but a greater portion of the yin-yang and god of war's essence was used in reforming his left arm and it was no longer 'human.' Silver arm with thin and barely visible dark veins. However, the blood flowing through this arm was red, he checked, and despite the visible difference, the way anything felt in his left hand, more specifically, the sensation felt from his left hand was similar to his real arm. The white wrapping that covered dark bones and muscles was similar to skin.

Maybe slightly better, too.

"And even your arm grew back—" Ah Yin revealed a strangely brightened expression when she is the spokesperson of utter coldness and sass in their group. However, before she could complete, Ja Sun's left arm moved and held her fair and soft cheeks in between his thumb and fingers. The press of her cheeks pushing her lips together and making them look plump.

"I'm not bald," Ja Sun smirked with a narrowed gaze. This time he left no room for discussion and Ah Yin could feel it, too. Right now, Ja Sun was simply riding great momentum. His arm was restored. His Fiery Golden Pupils had reached completion and raised his strength by unimaginable proportions. He had formed his second core— Yin-Yang War Physique, and he wasn't bald.

The information of god beasts and whatnot, presently, didn't matter to him. Ja Sun knew how to prioritize his options.

First thing, he needed his sugar from Ah Yin.

Then, he needed to find a way to come with a proper excuse for the reforging of his arm.

And further, he needed to start practicing the formation of Spirit Tools and understand more about the Rakshasa Soul Devouring Technique so that he can keep his promise to Violet.

And further down the line, he had to gradually progress in spirit cultivation, and given a few spirit bones he can absorb, the short-term goals would be met in time.

"Be're ip bubic!" Ah Yin squirmed, unable to find the will to resist as Ja Sun truly showed his hand, leaving her cornered against his gaze.

Letting go of Ah Yin with a snicker, Ja Sun couldn't help but spread his arms, "I've got both my arms and I can escape a Titled Douluo no questions asked. You're still worried about being public?"

"Then why don't we just run away?" Ah Yin suddenly made Ja Sun quiet.

"Hmm?"

"I mean..." Ah Yin sighed and leaned back, "We achieved many benefits in Spirit Hall. That was our goal in the first place, right? Don't you feel like running away before we run out of our luck and our identities are exposed?"

The surroundings of Immortal herbs and the scape of crystals looked stunning and even more was Ah Yin as she looked a little hesitant. Her concerns were genuine.

"Haven't you trusted everyone enough to disgrace yourself with such doubts?" Ja Sun inquired curiously.

"Disgrace myself?" Ah Yin inquired with a frown.

"We only leave for the right reasons and that is if they don't want us or attack us. Prematurely doubting someone and wallowing in the wrong conclusions lead to incorrect judgment. If there comes a day when my true name is exposed... what of it? I'll be chased? Probably. But by who? Xie Xan? Lana? Erlong? Bibi Dong? Jun'er or Oscar? Heh, maybe Yuehua?"

As he spoke the names, their countenance flashed through Ah Yin's face. Ah Yin recalled Lana lying her head on her lap. She then recalled Xie Xan continuously supporting their relationship. Bibi Dong teaching her and Liu Erlong sparring with her. Oscar cooking without care and Jun'er sniffing the food with equally uncaring expression. Even Yuehua droning about table manners and current fashion.

"I don't like running away for no reason and wouldn't you have no reason to run once you have your ninth spirit ring?" Ja Sun continued, his words soothing her nerves that had been tensed for a while but only let out her worries when Ja Sun was finally 'complete.'

"Doubts aren't a disgrace," Ah Yin snorted and Ja Sun smirked.

"Alright, now lie down." He rubbed his hand with an eager expression.

"I'm not," Ah Yin stood up as her spirit rings emerged and her domain expanded out. The number of blades of blue silver variants grew at an alarming rate, here to stay and grow under the influence of the Yin-Yang Well.

Under her control, the grass divided into thin strands twisting into ropes as they formed a small tent and she entered the tent silently. However, unknown to Ah Yin, Ja Sun wiped away the cold sweat on his forehead.

'Can't believe that actually worked,' he gulped.

You don't show your nervous side to your better half easily, that's what he had been taught. This was an obsolete teaching, of course, so many times Ja Sun didn't follow this advice until this 'kind' of situation.

He could go and fuck up the strongest of sects by infiltrating their ranks but 'infiltrating' in this situation would be... a new experience for him. Truly, today was the day of new experiences for him.

"Lost your nerve?" Ah Yin's voice emerged from the entrance of the tent and Ja Sun steeled his lost nerves.

"No..." Ja Sun mumbled, not finding any particular comeback that wouldn't ruin the mood so he simply didn't retort this time.

Within the tent, meanwhile, Ah Yin gazed at the soft and comforting bedding of the Blue Silver Variants she had formed and extracted a little from them to help cool her down, mentally, and much to her ire, physically.

'Shit... I asked something stupid. What run away? Are you a little girl?' She admonished herself not because she might be proven wrong to doubt her teammates later down the line in one of the possible circumstances where she might be exposed as a Spirit Beast turned into a Human but what she had accidentally implied. She was perfectly aware of the term eloping and should they have truly taken off, their actions would have been considered similar to it.

Ja Sun had taken quite a long time inside the pool and it was already past midnight. They still had a few hours to themselves before they are expected to return and this gap she now had to face made her heart beat erratically.

*Rustle*

Hearing Ja Sun entering from the entrance into the darkened tent where even the faint glimmer of moon and stars faded out, she quickly arranged her thoughts in an orderly fashion and turned around, facing Ja Sun with a confident smirk.

Seeing her smile, Ja Sun felt relatively relieved. At least, Ah Yin knew what she is doing. Maybe she could take the lead on this one? He thought. Both of them deeply unaware of each other's inexperience on the matter.

Well, because of Hu Lana's quite honest 'description' during their short stay in Heaven Dou City in the case of Ah Yin and Ja Sun's own knowledge of the 'documentaries,' what the two lacked wasn't in the department of imagination and expectations but the hands-on experience.

"Ehm," Ja Sun cleared his throat while the entrance was covered by the quickly lengthening stalks of the blue silver vines as if foreshadowing the events that were about to take place in the tent and the interior grew completely dark. Ja Sun could still see and even Ah Yin with the help of her domain and mental energy didn't have her vision impeded at all but strangely, the darkness and the complete stillness made their tense bodies loosen up slightly.

"I want you to understand that we're not doing this just because you didn't go bald?" Ah Yin opened, a little startled by the fact that Ja Sun's left arm truly acted like a fleshy one and didn't shine or reflect the slightest of speck of light. And this arm even felt warm like a real one. Honestly, if she could ever gain the ability to regrow limbs, she couldn't see herself doing anything better than this form of restructuring.

"I see," Ja Sun mumbled as he ran his fingers through his hair which had become quite soft, like premium strands of silk. His hair was long enough to reach his neck and was loosely tied from the back using a band. Clearly, he needed a haircut which he had planned to ask from Ah Yin once... you know?

They both grew silent and Ja Sun's gaze suddenly glimmered, "Do you want a drink?"

"No."

Ah Yin replied without any hint of hesitation and Ja Sun pursed his lips. Alcohol would have been such a classic 'lube' for the social tension they were in right now, Ja Sun felt and sighed.

'Painful it is then,' He firmed his heart and stuttered, "Let's... sit."

Gulping, Ah Yin nodded.

Both of them sat down with their throats slightly parched. They needed water and Ah Yin realized she was the one who mercilessly shot down the idea of drinking. But then again, alcohol only makes one thirst for more.

"You know," Ah Yin mumbled, "Sister Lana said that usually, men tend to... lose their selves in the heat of the moment. I, ehm, don't want to go through anything painful."

"I always knew Xie Xan is a bastard deep down," Ja Sun clicked his tongue. If there was anything eternal in their group then it was the fact that Xie Xan and Ja Sun would always try to take cheap shots at one another. Even Oscar was safe from this verbal abuse, much to his relief. After all, never anger your cook. He or she may not poison the dinner but may as well serve spit food.

Hearing Ja Sun, Ah Yin finally couldn't help but smile.

"How do you know it's him who tends to get rough? Maybe it's Sister Lana deep down but she intentionally made Brother Xie look bad."

Ja Sun grew silent. This was possible. Very possible. It didn't look like much but Hu Lana was a degenerated bastard, too.

"So... you won't actually describe what's going to happen here later to the girls, right?" Ja Sun chuckled awkwardly, now realizing that gossips worked both ways.

"Only if you're bad at it and it turns out to be a funny tale," Ah Yin narrowed her gaze, and the pressure on Ja Sun's... balls, doubled.

'That's it, no erection today due to stage fright,' he pursed his lips.

He had made too much fun of other's sex life, one of the major cases being Prince Dai Taiyin, to actually become a part of the joke.

What goes around comes around.

Seeing and finally sensing Ja Sun's hesitation, Ah Yin grew a little stunned and inquired, "Don't tell me... you didn't have someone like me in your previous life... Oi, you talk a lot about these kinds of things. You do know what to do, right?"

Ja Sun felt worse.

"Well... I had a girlfriend but she wasn't like you at all... and I did find the quickest way to her heart. I kind of killed her because she was a spy and... um, of course, I know stuff..."

"You do?" Ah Yin was freaking out internally for reasons unknown even to her.

"Well, I know what to put and where."

"Oh..."

"Alcohol?" Ja Sun inquired once again.

"... just this once."

---

30 Minutes Later.

Ja Sun and Ah Yin silently downed another cup of a fiery variety of wine. They had gone through a few selections and their better bodies, especially Ja Sun's, made it almost impossible for him to get drunk unless it's made from specific spirit materials but Ja Sun didn't think of ever wasting Immortal Herbs on the creation of alcohol.

But continuously drinking did make them feel calmer. Their senses weren't the least bit dulled but they grew more aware of each other. Intentionally lowering their defenses and always remaining mindful of not accidentally 'expose' too much.

"It really is hot in here," Ja Sun mumbled when the Blue Silver Variants surrounding him acted as a natural coolant. Waving his hand across his face, Ja Sun finally unbuttoned his shirt completely and took it off and Ah Yin, with her cheeks already blushed slightly from the exertion barely restrained from glaring and loosened the belt around her waist and pulled away her robe, revealing a perfect upper body covered by dudou. Ah Yin liked this form of underclothing more than bra because it still covered more portion of her torso even without a robe.

With threaded neck and another knot emerging from the sides of the dudou on her back, Ah Yin had her stomach somewhat exposed and looking at the plain and soft material firmly holding two very ripe fruits with the small bits of 'stems' poking out through the clothing. Feeling Ja Sun's scorching gaze and incomparably distressed, excited, and much more embarrassed, Ah Yin covered the portion that needed to be hidden with the fold of her hands and finally glared at Ja Sun.

"Yeah, whatever, it's hot," she grumbled, infuriated by the fact that her body had caught such an unnerving lie. She was feeling hot, after all.

'Alright... oh, lord, wait, no, the devil, grant me your utmost degeneracy...' Ja Sun closed his eyes momentarily, preparing his fragile heart for his unknowing performance only ever tested by his own right hand.
