章節 14: Nacrene City
After that Touya continued on his way down route 3 fighting with some trainers and finding a wake up potion on the ground for some reason.
Touya sat on a small bridge as he watched Oshawott swim in the lake with a smile.
"Osha Osha!" Oshawott said happily as he swam in the lake.
Oshawott swam for a few more minutes and then approached Touya.
"Well friend, we will have to capture another pokemon, but for now I have not found any that interest me" Touya said with a thoughtful tone.
"Osha" Oshawott said sadly.
"Are you sad about Pansear?" Touya asked trying to guess.
"Osha" Oshawott said as he nodded sadly.
"Don't feel sad, it was his decision and we have to respect it" Touya said as he patted Oshawott on the head.
Right at that moment Touya heard something.
Blitzzzz ....
Touya looked up and could see a small horse with a quite remarkable design in the distance
Touya approached slowly and stealthily and hid behind some bushes a few meters from him with Oshawott.
"Very good friend, at my signal you use water gun" Touya whispered to Oshawott.
"Osha" Oshawott said silently as he nodded.
"Well, one, two thre-" Touya said before being cut off by another sound.
Zebstrika .....
Touya could see a Zebstrika who approached and started playing with Blitzle happily.
"Ahhhh, since, we better go" said Touya a little downcast.
"Where are the lonely pokemon with a sad past when they are needed?" Touya asked to no one specifically.
Just when he was about to leave.
*Crack*
That's right, Touya stepped on a branch which alerted the Zebstrika and made him sulk.
"I curse you nature!" Touya said as he took Oshawott and ran towards the next city.
"Zesbstri!" Zebstrika said chasing after Touya.
After a chase from which it seemed impossible to escape, Touya came to a stop and was able to relax.
"I don't know how we escaped, but I better not complain" Touya said trying to catch his breath.
"Osha!" Oshawott said in an annoyed tone and pointing at Touya.
"Don't blame me, how would I know that I would be attacked by a cliche branch?" Touya said trying to explain.
After this Touya came to town and checked his map.
"Apparently this is Nacrene city" Touya said as he looked at the map.
"Hey Touya!" Cheren said coming out of nowhere and waving to Touya
"What's up Cheren?, Didn't we see each other about an hour ago?" Touya asked confused.
"It's not like there are many places to go yet" Cheren said calmly.
"In that you are right" Touya said with understanding.
"Well, I wanted to tell you that this gym specializes in normal type pokémon, so you will need a fighting type pokémon" Cheren said in an explanatory tone.
"Wow, how do you know they are normal type?, That must be cheating" Touya said suspiciously.
"I'm always informed, take a small gift by the way" Cheren said proudly and then tossed a berry at Touya.
"It is a berry that helps to wake up the pokemon when they are asleep" Cheren said in an explanatory tone.
"Wait, I found wake up potions and now you give me a berry that also helps to wake up, are you implying that I'm in the Matrix?" Touya said with realization.
"How the hell could you come to that conclusion?" Cheren asked in a tired tone.
"You know me, I'm always looking for more than necessary" said Touya with a shrug.
"Well, see you, I'll go to the forest to catch pokemon" Cheren said as he said goodbye.
"Bye, don't go boring someone along the way" Touya said with a smile.
Touya went to the pokémon center to heal Oshawott and then sat on a chair in a nearby cafe.
"The joys of life" Touya said in a relaxed tone as he sipped coffee and enjoyed the music from a nearby accordion.
After that Touya had a fight or two and even ran into a nurse.
"Why are you here and not in the pokémon center?" Touya asked the nurse in confusion.
"Well, it's quite common for some bug-type pokemon to poison the trainer's pokémon when entering the Pinwheel forest, so I'm always here in case of emergency" said the nurse with a smile.
"I see" Touya said with a little concern about the forest.
Right at that moment Touya could hear knocks in the distance.
*Pam**Pam**Pam*
"Did you hear that?" Touya asked the nurse.
"I didn't hear anything" said the confused nurse.
Touya walked a slight deviation and got closer and closer to the sound.
"Get ready friend, whoever is giving those blows must not be weak" Touya said to Oshawott with a serious tone.
"Osha!" Oshawott said with a serious look.
*Pam**Pam*
Being close enough to the noise, Touya could see a blue pokemon slightly smaller than him, dressed as a karate fighter and hitting a large rock.
Touya scanned him with the Pokedex and found it to be a Sawk.
"I think we already found the next team member" Touya said with a smile.
