章節 197: If He Didn't Know Better...

Roman wasn't sure how long he cried exactly. At least he was able to pull himself together completely before anyone came into his office looking for him. It would have been mortifying to have been caught, especially since he didn't know the reason for his breakdown either. 

He managed to get back to his paperwork despite still feeling like something was off and not understanding what it was. He had always been able to tamp his emotions down to do what needed to be done. This wasn't anything new. 

He didn't notice his phone buzzing with multiple text messages during lunch and worked right through it as he ate at his desk. He was used to not having anyone to talk to during that time. Or was he? 

At the end of his break, Roman saw that he had several missed messages from Penny asking if he was okay and what was going on. Was it normal for her to text him during lunch? He wasn't sure but he felt like that was something he should know.
