章節 58: A Bit Regretful

The next morning, Penelope woke up with arms around her, a cat on her pillow right next to her face, and a dog curled up by her legs. She simultaneously felt very loved and a bit claustrophobic. 

Squished as she may be, she couldn't deny that this was much preferable to being alone. Having someone to greet her when she came home and wake up to in the morning was surprisingly nice. 

She had gotten too used to her isolation, not realizing what she was missing out on. That wouldn't be a problem anymore. She was quite possibly the most popular member of this household. 

If being popular meant she also got completely surrounded in her sleep, so be it. This was actually the first time Arlo had slept on the bed. He was really warming up to them! 

Tilly had already done it since her first night here. Penelope had a suspicion she liked the bed itself more than the company.
