["Oh, is that him?"]

The voice on the phone reached Syn's ears while Aoi and Jill fell dead silent, acting like naughty kids caught in the act.

"Who's that?" Chess asked, looking curious, making Jill and Aoi dumbfounded.

They both turned to look at each, asking if Chess really asked them who's the person on the phone is. Well, isn't it his phone? And Syn did say that there is only one contact, so how can he not know who it is?

However, in Chess' eyes, the phone in Syn's hand isn't familiar at all. That was why he asked who he was talking to since Aoi and Jill looked so interested.

Syn, on the other hand, just casually ended the call after whispering something, acting as if he did nothing before putting it back into the box and into the paper bag. After that, he laid it on the floor, laid his back on the couch, and covered his eyes with his arm, back into his sleeping position.
