She keeps repeating it, tears cascading down her beautiful, saddened face as if she is trying to convince herself instead of Dr. and Mrs. Lee.
Dr. Lee's expression hardened, and his eyes squinted as he processed what she had said. Claire, on the other hand, covered her lips as if stunned by her revelation.
"Crystal," said Dr. Lee in a steady yet forceful tone. "You've experienced a lot. The treatment may result in confusion and the surfacing of memories that aren't entirely true."
"They are real!" Crystal interjected, her voice escalating in irritation.
"I remember everything vividly. I remember living as Ava Go, the person I was and the things I did. And now...I find myself inhabiting someone else's life. I feel disoriented. You made me believe I was Crystal by giving me her appearance. You made me witness her memories, which I believed to be my past. How could you do this to me?"
