章節 39: "A New Era"
Paulo is in the car with Fabio while is driving the car to the stadium, Paulo was very excited about today's match but at the same time he was feeling little bit anixious as well. Paulo and Fabio finally about reach the stadium they were just only few miles away, the Parma C.F stadium can be seen clearly. Paulo seeing the stadium through the windshield and he smiles a bit while staring at the stadium, last time he came to this stadium was eleven years ago as a fan but this time he is going into the stadium as a player. This was making Paulo to be little proud of himself.
"Are you ready for the challenge amigo ?" Fabio asked and Paulo nods his head. Fabio parked his car in the parking lot area, the other team players are also arrived there, they all greet each other with 'Buongiorno' good morning. All players are in a good mood, they all goes inside the stadium towards dressing room, Paulo also joins them.
The scretary of Luis Salvatore informs him that the players had arrived into the stadium.
"Good ! Let's Go to dressing room." Luis Salvatore with his secretary goes to the dressing room for meeting the players.
The players are in the dressing room, everyone is checking out there new jerseys for this season and everyone are just feeling very glad by the new jersey and everyone is busy in complimenting the new jersey but Paulo is trying to find the jersey of his name. Paulo rolling his eyes around the whole dressing room but cannot find the jersey of his name. Ale Piola arrives at the moment and instructs his players to sit down and stay quiet because the president is coming to dressing room to talk them at any moment. Paulo sits with Fabio and he asks him about where is the jersey of his name in a very low voice.
"Do you even got your squad number for the jersey or given your name to any of our working board member ?" Fabio questions him, Paulo replied by saying no to it.
"Then how you will get your jersey ? You never got the squad number not even given your name for the jersey then how the kit manufacturer will produce it ?" Fabio says and this made Paulo more concerned because if there no jersey of his name then he will play. He further discuss about the situation suddenly
"HEY ! YOU BOTH ! I said keep quiet." Ale Piola scolded them and both Paulo and Fabio don't even to utter a word. The President with his secretary finally arrive in the dressing room every player greets him with a good morning president message, the president Luis Salvatore also greet them back.
"Good Morning everyone..... I hope you all are doing great. Well today is the day that will decide whether we stay in the top division of the Italian football or we will go down straight into the second division. Since you all playing for this club you all know that we never been relegated from the first division, it's almost been a century for us we never gone down like that. Last season we played like a amateurs and we are here now, this disgusts me and so you all are disgusted by that as well. Remember..... REMEMBER that we were the champions, this club was totally dominating italy by that period and now look how far we had fallen. I not angry by you all, I not blaming you all either because there were some mistakes that I had also made in the past and now all we have to do is to get together forget about the past, forget those bad memories and bring this club back where it belong, to be the champion of Italy again and this will only happen when we win this match and then win the ITALIAN TITLE THIS SEASON AND SHOW THE WHOLE THAT WE ARE... ! So are you guys with me ?"
The speech by Luis Salvatore filled the players with full of confidence and energy. The whole started to cheer themselves and started chanting 'VIVA l'Parma, FORZA PARMA! !!!!!! VIVA l'PARMA, FORZA PARMA. Luis Salvatore feeling great after seeing that sort of zeal and energy from his players, he chants with them little bit but as the players were busy together in chanting and motivating each other he suddenly turns his attention to Paulo, Paulo anware of it busy with his teammates, Luis Salvatore calmy walks towards him and frankly put his hand on his shoulders and gently whispered in his ear
"I want to talk to you, something really important so come with me to my office." Paulo asked nothing in return he agreed what he said and follows him to the office.
Luis Salvatore gestured to Ale Piola that he taking Paulo with him for a while, he send him later and Ale agreed, Salvatore, his asistant and Paulo leave the dressing room for the office.

Luis Salvatore, his asistant and Paulo arrive in the office. Luis Salvatore asked his asistant to bring the file of Paulo's contract, he then focus his attention on Paulo he asked Paulo to sit down and make himself comfortable. He sat on his chair.
"So Paulo first time hmm ? How you are feeling right now happy, confindent or nervous ? If you are feeling nervous then don't hesitate you can tell me, don't consider me as a president only consider me as your gurdian as well in the end as a president I want my players to be comfortable, feel me and this club as their family members." This humble gesture from Luis Salvatore made Paulo have deep sense of gratitude for him.
His asistant came back with the file of Paulo's contract in his hand and put it on the desk. Luis Salvatore open up the file to check and it was the exactly the file that he wanted. He puts the file opened up in his direction. Paulo when saw it first and knew it was the professional contract which can make his dreams to become reality. He can't put his joy back but somehow he managed to.
"So Paulo here is the thing, it only needs your signature and once you signed the contract you will finally achieve what you dreamed of." Luis Salvatore said, Paulo moves his hands forward to see it but Luis Salvatore slides it back to him and said.
"But before signing the contract there is something that you have to do."
Paulo's happiness suddenly turned into full of confusion and now he thinking what Luis Salvatore will ask him to do.
