章節 37: "A Great Advice"
It's 8:00 o'clock night Paulo and Fabio are having dinner together, Fabio was giving kudos to Paulo for his food that he cooked but Paulo didn't pay attention at all and was just holding the spoon, he is not eating nor he has a taste of his own food. Fabio once try to grab his attention but again Paulo doesn't seem to pay much attention to it, it was looking that he was thinking something very deeply. Fabio this just claps right at the side of his left ear and this time he successfully gets his attention. He genrally asks him that
"What you are thinking mate and in such a serious that he didn't even had a little taste of the dinner that he just cooked ?" Paulo simply denied to it and says:
"No I was not thinking at all I am just little bit tired, that's the case." Fabio knew that he we lying to him and he literally mocks him by saying:
"If you don't know how to lie then you should not lie to anybody, what do you think that I am stupid ? I can't recognize anything, I can see it on your face that you were thinking something very deeply. Do you even know what said to you a moment ago ? Paulo at first lied to him but then he accept that he didn't really paid attention upon what he was saying him and then literally ask what he was saying. Fabio tell him that he was giving praise to him for the dinner that he cooked, Paulo thanked him for his complement. Fabio then asked him:
"By the what you were thinking hmm... ?" Paulo don't want to say anything on it and literally tries to put off the matter.
"Nothing ! Nothing just thinking about tomorrow's match that how I am gonna play, what would be the atmosphere inside the stadium, that was the thing or nothing too serious." Fabio caught him that he was hiding the truth and then he says:
"I know you are lying to me again that's not the only thing that you were thinking about. It is something more than that." Paulo says:
"What do you mean by that ?" Fabio then clarifies to him:
"You were thinking about that girl right ? Those words that she said to you ?" Paulo agreed and nods his head and describe him about how they both suppose support each other:
"I never expected that she would say those kind of words to me. She and I were friends since the childhood days, she always helped me in lot things and she always hide some of the mistakes that I made in the past so that my father don't scold me for that but today I saw a different person in her. I know that what I did with was not right but in my worst dreams I never imagined that she would ever do something like that against me." Fabio later that moment console him:
"You know mate ? Sometimes what we expect from other person to do what we want them to do is not possible every time. There will be some agreements, disagreements and sometimes the relationships get ruined because of that, it's not in our hands anyway, it might written into our faith, our destiny ! all accept it as a game of luck and just move on." Paulo was kind of agree with him but he tells him that there friendship was too strong then how it can deteriorate like that. Fabio then tells him about his mother and father relationship in the past.
"Well my you know my father and my mother were also having a very good relationship before there marriage, my mother never thought that my father will ever betray her and leave her like that for another women, my mother was so determined that he cannot do something that can break her heart but unfortunately that same man did exactly what my mother never expected him to do, he left me and my mother alone, he just broke the relationship and starts to act like we were never a part of his life in the past. She told me once that she was suffering from severe depression after that betrayal from him and was thinking to end her life but whenever she see my face, she just forget what happened with her and then kicked out that man from her memory and her life and accept it as a game of destiny." Paulo was very touched by the story but he ask him what he want to talk him with this story then Fabio explains him.
"Well I don't want to be sound as a philosopher but with this story and what had been through in the past I want to tell you that in your life you will meet many peoples, some will stay, some will leave, some stay for short period of time and some stay for very long time but there will very rare people who will always be there for you to support to help you out to achieve your ultimate goal of your life. So don't care about those peoples who left you, just care about the future, your goal, your aim that you have to accomplish." Paulo finally realised that he should solely focus on his aim to become a successful professional football player and not to care about those people who left him. Paulo says:
"I don't want to say but you were sounding like an philosopher for a moment but seriously you just literally made me realise that I should now only focus on the aim of my life. I am now highly motivated, now I don't care anymore about what happened with me, the people who left me I will stay positive and work hard." Fabio cheered him up and completely finished his dinner and asked him to finish his dinner as well as he is going to sleep. Paulo asked him is he not going to bar tonight Fabio replied him.
"That's only for normal days not before the matchdays." They both laugh then Fabio heads to his bedroom for sleep while Paulo eats his dinner.
