I skimmed the top page of the questionnaire but stopped when it left sex positions and started talking about toys, gags, and whips. Embarrassed to be reading something so sexual so openly, and more than a little turned on as each word conjured up an image of Reed and me. I set it aside to look through when I was alone.

"Tell me what the difference is, I want to make sure you understand," he said when I looked at him.

It took a moment to think about what he had said since my mind was completely full of erotic images.

"A hard limit is something you absolutely will not do. A soft limit is something that you are not able to do now but it may be something you can do in the future," I repeated a line from one of the first books I'd read.
