The atmosphere was different tonight, that much Noah could confirm himself. While it would not be the first time Keito tried to pull his mask off, somehow it felt so much different this time.

The biggest warning was the almost aggressive smell the alpha was giving off. It indicated that the other was not in full control right now and it scared Noah a little. From experience he knew what the other was capable of.

He might not have all his memories right now about the time Ryu lost control but his body still remembered the destruction it had caused in the past. Keito, as a reincarnation, could cause the same magnitude of destruction. Even more if he finally accepted that power.

But that was not the real danger here. This unpredictability meant that he could no longer trust Keito to make the right decision.

So, for the first time in a while he called out the other in the best way he could, choosing to address Ryu instead of Keito and the other froze.
