“Your Highness, are we called here to be insulted?” he faced Darce.
Conner frowned and got ready to retort back, but Darce put a hand on his shoulder.
“I do not understand why there is so much pressure on this. How do you expect me to decide without surveying the area first? I understand you wish to get the miners deeper inside the mountain, but what about the safety of the workers? Can you pay for their life?” He replied with a straight face.
It was a clear warning to dismiss the agenda at present. Goen was feeling the heat of the conversation, so he decided to come in the middle. “Now, I think His Highness is correct. We should wait before making any hasty decisions.”
