The words coming out of Kaizan’s mouth stung him like sharp needles. Rosa knew these were meant to make her feel as such. However, she still could not figure out why was she subjected to such kind of hostility. She did not expect any kind of attitude here however, direct provocation is making her uncomfortable at the moment.

“A true warrior is not recognized by his status or gender, he was recognized due to his worth, or else they wouldn’t have been from different places of the world. Rather there would be just one of a kind.” Rosa was trying hard to keep her breathing normal.

It did not seem to work on Kaizan much, but it was enough of an answer for now. “A true warrior is known as the warrior of legends treating his comrades equally and leading his soldiers to victory. Their names would be heard far and wide.” He scoffed looking at her figure. “What I see in front of me is none of those.”

‘The kid is right you know.’ The shadow poked her shoulder.
