<p>Marlin really didn't quiet understand . So seeing her confused state of mind  grandma started telling ,<br/><br/>"You know in ancient times usually to conquer power or nobility people used to hurt each other for that power to uphold . It would sometimes lead to murder or assassination."<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>That child maybe or could be in the same situation who knows . He might be cautious 24/7 in order to save himself from different dangers and who are making plans in order to assassinate him. He's holding onto his dear life . Poor boy....<br/><br/>Marlin was shocked , "Can people be really cruel ..?"<br/>Marlin does know how it feels like to be suffered but to lead a life where you might die anytime seems more terrifying than that ....<br/><br/>"Well you don't have to worry about that"<br/><br/>Grandma hugged Marlin while saying that. <br/>"Since we both live in the modern worlds and we are both powerless so I don't think anyone would actually be benefited in killing us haha"<br/><br/>"....yeah,right ."<br/><br/>Grandma stared at Marlin, "Why don't you look so pleased though?" She started looking at her more closely .<br/><br/>Marlin inverted Grandmas eyes thinking she cannot lie straight to her face . She stumbled saying , "What are you saying grandma....? . Maybe you have gotten old so you don't understand how I'm feeling right ?"<br/><br/>"Hmm....."<br/>Then she burst out laughing saying , "Hoho maybe you're right . This lady has gotten old. I probably should go to sleep . You should too , Marlin!"<br/><br/>"Yes, Grandma!"<br/><br/>Marlin took grandma to her bed and made arrangements to make her sleep peacefully.When Marlin kissed her grandma goodnight and was leaving ...<br/><br/>Grandma opened her eyes to see Marlin going away and she made a saddened expression while having this thoughts -<br/><br/>"Dear Lord, please protect this innocent child . I just wish her to be happy and nothing else"<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/><br/>Marlin returned to her bedroom in the count house . She kept pondering over the thoughts and realised she might have to know more . She remembered the flashback she had with Loren.<br/><br/>"You came from the concubines prince room!"<br/><br/>"So he's a prince after all ...", Marlin thought .<br/>So in the end the handsomeness only the princes get just like in the fairytale books ...<br/>*sighs*<br/><br/>Marlin called her maid and told her they will be going to the library later . When that time arrived Marlin went into the library . She started collecting books of the history of the royal family . <br/><br/><br/>While reading she found out about "him"<br/><br/>The emperor Of the current kingdom; King Heinley Von Ditrich had one queen that is The empress Dowager Shaliana . She was a perfectionist in every way but there was no loving bond between them . They were married only in name but the queen was blessed with everything. Money , gold , honour except love . But he had a child with the queen and that's prince Mathias Von Ditrich . Later a beautiful daughter who is the only princess of the kingdom named Sylvia Von Ditrich. People of the kingdom thought maybe the king wasn't able to love but that was wrong .<br/><br/><br/>The king fell in love with a woman of another country . It was when a Great War broke out and the king along with his soldiers marched off to protect the kingdom . He was a valiant hero but when he was injured the only one who rescued him was a woman of that place he resided . She treated him by helping him recover of his pain and her kindness was what moved him . He felt this feeling after a long time and understood he's in love with her . <br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/><br/>Upon staying and having moments together ; the king was able to move the maidens heart.<br/>After the war ended the king proposed to her in order to be his concubine . The girl wasn't interested in being the empress after all but out of love she took that hand . That's the concubine Amara.<br/><br/>Her name is foreign since she's from another kingdom . After she came here after 3 months she gave birth to twins . That is Prince Aiden Von Ditrich and prince Ethan Von Ditrich. Of course the empress wasn't happy with that . Some even say Amara was a thorn to her path. Even a obstacle of the Prince in becoming the successor . Everyone knew Amara was kind hearted and wasn't interested in the titles also doesn't wish for her sons to enter into bloody battle of succession.<br/><br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>But they were happy until Amara's sudden death news travelled . No one knows why it happened or how it happened . But she was poisoned . Already all the suspicions were onto the queen but no one dared to go against the queen . The king and the queen had several fights over this but she denied .<br/><br/><br/>The king had become pale losing the love of his life He grieved over thinking it was his fault bringing her over this kingdom . She should have been smiling somehere else but he was greedy and which resulted this things to happen .<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>People sooner later forgot about Amara. The king adored the twin princes. But sometimes life threatening things happen to the prince so high Security is kept for them . It mainly comes from the opposite faction.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>"I feel like I've aged a lot reading the history . Phew"<br/><br/>Marlin asked the butler to come . She asked him , "Doesn't the twin prince often come to the parties ?"<br/><br/>"No, miss . They rarely attend . They used to do it before but dangerous things are bound to them and so for their own safely they don't .."<br/><br/>"Oh.... I see"<br/><br/>"Miss, prince Aiden does come sometimes while Prince Ethan doesn't show much"<br/><br/>"Have you seen him ?"<br/>"No, miss . I haven't seen him either"<br/><br/>"Okay you can go now !", Martin waved .<br/><br/>The butler went away . After some time , Loren came to Marlin. "Seriously sister , are you into the princes of our kingdom?"<br/><br/>Marlin looked surprised , "How do you know ?"<br/><br/>*sigh*, Loren pinching his forehead .<br/><br/>"The book you're holding...."<br/><br/>"Oh....", Marlin was embarrassed. To how many times will she be dumb infront of her little brother .<br/><br/><br/>Loren sighed , "Sister , please don't tell me you're already planning to get married ?!"<br/><br/>Marlin looked at him , "WHAT? No!"<br/><br/>Loren looked pleased but didn't showed in his face . He just hugged his sister saying , "Don't go so deeply into royal families . They are already a mess and they are really dangerous . We will look for a good guy for you so forget them"<br/><br/><br/>Marlin not taking this seriously, "Yeah yeah"<br/><br/>Loren smiled by going away , "With that saying since you agreed you're not coming to tonight's ball. Rest at home!"<br/><br/>Marlin said , "Yeah whatever ...."<br/><br/>"......"<br/>"...!!?!"<br/><br/>"WHAAAAAAT?!?"<br/><br/><br/><br/>On the other hand , the emperor was talking to the princes . The emperor looked at them closely , "You do know , my sons , you can't always keep closed in your rooms all the time . You have to show yourself to the society already"<br/><br/>"Yes , father", Prince Aiden said with a smile .<br/><br/>"Father, I think I need more time though"<br/><br/>The king looked at the prince worried saying, "Listen .. Ethan look -<br/><br/>"Father !!", Ethan glared . "I know you want for my betterment but please. I can't rest properly until I find my mother's murderer at all cost . You love her; don't you ? So you should support me already . You can see that the master mind  behind all this  is trying to kill me as well !!"<br/><br/>Prince Aiden looked at his brother with stern look . He looked kind of sad but that didn't moved Ethan at all ...<br/><br/>The king remained silent since he already know he's right . Ethan stormed out saying one thing before leaving , "I don't think I'll attend todays ball as well"<br/><br/>"ETHAN!" <br/><br/>                *Door shuts loudly *<br/><br/>                       <br/><br/>Meanwhile Marlin thought to herself , "I'll bet I'll see you tomorrow hehe whoever you are . But ugh I have to make plans how to get out first !!"</p>
