''And would you become the King if you marry my sister?" Adrian could barely restrain himself from rushing up to the man and strangle every bit of arrogance out of him. A pest like that had the audacity to touch his sister, ''Why her?!"

Ruby's grip on his arm remained firm. Her soothing voice flowing to his ears every once in a while, ''Esme is still with him. Compose yourself.'' 

Jeremiah laughed, ''Adrian Reis? The true heir of the Nevesray. The other boy is an illegitimate child while Esme…'' his gaze wandered back to Rezeph as he continued, ''...is unrelated to the royal family of Nevesray.''
