章節 213: Plotting Revenge

Vorian had to wait for a few hours before he could talk with Eldred. And he couldn't get any happier after he was connected with Eldred on the radio. 

"Hey, Vorian. Is everything okay? Is Alexis okay?" Eldred asked as soon as Vorian picked up the call. He was already informed who was trying to contact him, and he was surprised that it was not Alexis but was Vorian. And he instantly suspected that something terrible had happened to his daughter.

And Vorian confirmed his suspicion, "Alexis fell unconscious. She is under observation right now. I am so sorry, Eldred. I couldn't stop her from putting herself in that situation because I was unconscious at that time."

There was silence on the other end of the call for a while. Vorian also kept quiet so that Eldred could take in the sad news.

And after a while, Eldred managed to ask, "How did that happen?"
