"Where did you get this evidence from?" Mr. Castillo asked curiously and put the spoon back rather then taking a bite.

Theo averted her gaze and glanced at her food while thinking of an answer she should give him. Whether she should tell him the truth or a lie was depended on his expression.

"I got it from Mr. Otis daughter who wants to escape her marriage with an old man. In exchange I gave her an apartment to hide in temporarily," she observed his expression in silence after telling him the truth.

He gulped while looking at the pen drive and touched it as if touching a heavenly creature.

"You are indeed very capable," her father laughed while feeling proud. It was new to Theo. She thought that he will be angry with her for indulging in dangerous things but he was feeling proud.
